Villa Flavia

Liked everything about the property, very spacious and spotless - no negatives!

The location is beautiful with both private balcony with sea views & pretty public areas. Sorrento is only a 30 minute walk away yet the Villa is in a very quite & tranquil location. We had a fantastic time, the owners are friendly & helpful without being intrusive. The dog is also very friendly & quiet

The apartment was well kept, the owner was very kind and helpful and the location was perfect for our planned activities (Sorrento, Pompeii, Capri and some of the Amalfi coast)

Villa Flavia is an amazing place to stay. It's in a lovely little town called Sant Angelo which about 30 mins walk or a 5 minute train journey from Sorrento. The property itself is set in the owners grounds which is very secure behind electronic gates and has parking. They have a lovely swimming pool and lots of lemon and orange trees. The room itself is quite small (but we were aware of that when we booked) but it is very compact with a double bed, kitchen and bathroom and does the job for 2 people. It had a lovely balcony with a stunning view of the grounds and across the town and a BBQ. There is also a roof terrace on top of the main building again with a BBQ and stunning views. The owners were very friendly and were always around if you had any questions.

The apartment we stayed in is above the owners, it is fairly basic but spacious, clean & has everything we needed. A long balcony runs round 2 sides of it with loungers, table & chairs & bbq, lots of sun or shade. There is a small communal pool & loungers set amidst pretty orange & lemon trees next to the house. And there are beautiful views of the bay of Naples & Vesuvius from the communal top terrace in the villa. Lucia & Salvatore (the owners) couldn’t have been more welcoming - they picked us up, took us to the supermarket on arrival & ferried us to train station another day. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they even provided home made limoncello! Only thing I would point out is that villa flavia is about 15mins walk up from main road through Sant’Agnello and there wasn’t much in way of bars or restaurants close by. I didn’t wear my high heels at all because every time we went out it involved a walk! The upside of this is peace & tranquility away from busy centre. We will definitely be back, it was an excellent base from which to see the wonderful archaeological sites and Amalfi coast.

Wonderful peaceful setting, beautiful garden and clean pool and fantastic roof top terrace with a view of the bay of Naples. Well equipped apartment and wonderful owners who helped us when I fell ill and when our taxi did not arrive to take us to the airport. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place and very nice apartment. It’s a 30 minute walk to Sorrento - easy to get there, but the road is not particularly nice. Great service and helpful hosts.

We truly enjoyed Villa Flavia. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. The appartments are really good and spacious. And the surroundings are just beautiful. I would though say that the distance to the Beach is more than 800 meters, as it is written. It Can be a little crowded around the pool if all guests decide to use it at the same time.
