Honestly, it didn’t live up to the Autograph brand of luxury boutique hotels. It looks like Marriott bought this hotel and refurbished it. Management didn’t even make the contractors paint over the measurements. Large numbers are still on the wall along with slit marks in permanent markers. It’s completely unprofessional. It felt more like a two star hotel. Thankfully it was just overnight. We won’t be back.

There were only 2 small issues. The nightstand was covered in thick dust and triggered allergies but since it’s in a pandemic it’s ok. I did notice most of the rooms had a “sanitized” sticker on them but since the room was immaculate other than the dust I didn’t think much of it since I did do a very early checkin before the hotel actually opened. The other issue was there was a wedding party on our floor which was screaming and slamming doors until 3am. It’s a wedding so that’s kind of a given that things like that may happen so I just figured I’d deal with it rather than ruining someone’s else’s joyous event. Other than that, since we drove there was currently no valet or building parking but across the street in a sketchy lot. I’d definitely stay there again though since it was close to things that are usually open not durring the pandemic and it’s easy to walk to things. I would just suggest being “alert” of your surroundings if your not used to big in a city but for me, I live in a downtown area so personally it was just another day for me.

2 night stay for the family enjoyed Portland, the hotel was in a great central location. Lots to see and do in walking distance. Hotel does a great job making you feel safe in the midst of unrest in the city. Service was excellent, staff couldn't be more accommodating. Would stay again for sure.

Room was clean. Amenities were non existent, even for Covid times. No water glasses, no coffee, no food, no ice, no vending. In room checkout didn’t work, still haven’t seen my bill 24 hrs later. Parking is self park in a pay lot across the street or somewhere around the corner. It’s a Marriott Bonvoy hotel if that makes a difference for Marriott membership holders.

The day before our stay at the Hi-Lo, we received an email stating they were not offering any parking on-site and we would need to figure it out on our own. They listed a few suggestions we would have to pay additional fees for or walk some distance to the hotel. This was not an option as we were arriving very late and did not feel comfortable walking with luggage. We had requested some typical amenities in the room that were removed due to the current COVID19 situation, which the staff assured us were placed in the room, but they were not. Overall, the stay was disappointing. The hotel is nice, but they could have provided off-site parking, waived fees, etc. to make up for their lack of on-site parking. Also, please tell guests about this situation prior to 24 hours before their stay!

Great service and rep in front, rooms were very clean and even had heated floors. Only complain I could see is lack of cabinetry to store clothes, but either than, place is awesome.
