Sunscape Puerto Plata - All Inclusive

Upon arrival I had the worse experience where i was told to wait on the side while dominicans and people from the country were attended too at the snap of the finger. I asked for the manager who ssid give her a chance and i was gokng until isaw more dominican ppl being service worh a quickness. They refuse to give me my money back so I will turn to social media and my lawyer. THE WORSE HOTEL IN PLAYA DORADA

The resort is clean and staff are very helpful. The could have been a little hotter but it was all good

This Hotel is excellent !!! Nice and friendly and very Clean ! Food is excellent ! This Hotel is together with Iberostar in Puerto Plata the best ! We have been in sure 4 more resorts before but from now on its either Iberostar or Sunscape !!

The pool was pretty and the tacos were pretty good along with some of the restaurant food. We had a rough experience overall starting with our bathroom ceiling leaking from a frozen AC, the shower head breaking off, and the room TV remote didn’t work. The new room we were moved to also had a remote that didn’t work, a sink that didn’t drain and another broken shower head. I also got very sick from the bacteria at the resort/ food I ate at the pool restaurant. Most of the resort is in desperate need of updating and repair.

The WiFi wasn't the best. Besides so everything is amazing.

All in all, my stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The pools clear and refteshing, the poolside beverages tasty. The evening entertainment of dancing and comedy entertaining. The internet however was disappointing. Took 30 minutes to connect only to be disconnected 2 minutes later. Frustrating

You get what you pay for . Cheap resort . First one that I ve try it to see if it’s true . And yess it is . It’s not my standards .

The guy at the desk questioned me about my guest that was meeting me there. As long as my guest pays the guest visit price, it shouldn’t matter. He made it seem as if I didn’t know her and my guest was a prostitute or something. It made me and my guest uncomfortable. I don’t know what goes on there, but if no laws are being broken, the people at the front desk should mind their business and focus on pleasing the customer.

I like that they tried to keep you entertained. They also was nice enough to pick my mom up everytime she needed a ride because you have to walk a bit to get ariund the property. And she walks with a cane. But there are no elevators on the property. Our room did have a foul smell a couple days like sewage or someo e in another room took a huge dump. Food was just ok. Asian restaurant was very slow on bringing the food. And the drinks are weak. After my 72 year old mom had 8 drinks she never got a buzz she said.

Its a nice hotel but unfortunately its just an old property. Also, the quality of the food was quite poor.
