The view of the lake from the rooms and the fact that this was prebooked and I didnt want to have to argue any further with the owner about cancelling, are the only reasons I stayed after seeing and smelling the room. The room itself was musty and cold until an hour or 2 later when the heat finally warmed it up (which we were advised to turn on ourselves. Also, the window screens had holes in them, the carpet was tearing and ratty, and the handles to wind the windows open were missing pieces. Also, the entire parking lot was sheer ice, and so was the walkway putside of our room. My girlfriend actually slipped and couldve hurt herself if she didnt manage to catch herself on my car.

We have stayed here twice before but this time around at check-in we had reserved 2 rooms with 2 queen beds but when we got into the rooms realized it was 2 doubles in each room but after a 6hr drive we didn't bother to complain. The following morning, our toliet was clogged, water to the brim. In our other room, it had completely overflowed and they did not make any attempt to rush over to help, had to go over to the front office after waiting well over 10mins. We did get a refund for at least one night after some complaining. I suggest the man at the front office works on his customer service and pays attention to details at check-in.
