Hotel Casa Tere

We unfortunately didn’t sleep because of the noise.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Room cleaning was poor including the toilet. The place strongly smelled of humidity. Pool was right behind reception desk, so of course, nobody used it. Don't rely on a wake up call.

This hotel has a one great thing ( other things are good) location. You are in the more local neighborhood but just a short walk across the park and you are standing in front of the famous watch tower. Location puts you closer to the other attraction old fortress. Hotel is an old community house so it is a bit funky and roof deck is outdated. So do not make this a reason to stay here. One thing that originally we thought was strange ( luck of window) in the room turned out to be a blessing at the end of the hot days which Cartagena has many. All staff was helpful and kind which applies to all people in Colombia.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times. The restaurant is very nice and has very good food. Housekeeping staff is on the ball and keeps the rooms clean. My only recommendation is that there be a little fitness center for guests to enjoy receiving daily exercise I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel

Great hotel, Great location. In the heart of town. Walking distance to everything. Room was great and rooftop patio definitely a plus.

My parents (senior citizens) stayed at this property as part of a bundle package I bought them for a mini vacation. They told me even know the staff was very friendly and attentive, they have trouble with the water heater so they usually have to wash with very cold water. Also that even thought it is identified by Expedia as situated in the called "Walled City" that doesnt mean it is in the Centro were they would have preferred to stay. Centro and Walled City is not necessary the same. They told me the area or "barrio" were it is dirty and didn't feel as safe as they were when walking through the Cartagena Centro. But they also said, that the room was appropiate and included a king size bed and also it was a most the elevator for them a lot of properties in the historic area of Cartagena doesn't have necessary that commodity. If the go back they say they will not stay in the property again but in a property in the Centro but will recommend it for younger people and backpackers.

Great hotel, fun location, nice rooms. I stayed here twice, once the room was bigger and had a couch and larger bathroom, the second time the room was much smaller and didn't have a couch. As a larger man I prefer to have more space. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the area is generally safe, and you're very close to lots of nightlife. I would stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location on a charming street in the middle of Cartagenas’s colonial, artistic Getsemani neighborhood. Easy walk to tons of great restaurants of all price ranges; just steps from the walled city. The staff always went out of their way to help me. This is truly a “boutique” hotel that offers comfort combined with historical character. I would even say luxury in an understated way. I loved staying at Hotel Casa Tere Boutique. My room on the fourth floor was quiet and clean with simple but attractive decor. I used the rooftop jucuzi, which is nice.
