Villa Lala Hotel Boutique - Adults Only

Villa Lala is amazingly beautiful hotel with scenic views, perfectly maintained grounds and the warmest, nicest employees taking care of all their guests’ needs. I have not been treated with more respect, warmth and care in any place like i have been there.

Villa Lala was amazing. The property is beautiful and the staff and service was impeccable. They made us feel comfortable and safe, and helped arrange everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Love the room and great view! We enjoyed staying in the room. At night we saw beautiful lightning bugs! However, some communications didn’t go well. They forgot to bring our breakfast. After we called, they brought scramble eggs and beans which looked and tasted like an unprofessional cooked last minute. We ordered orange juice and chilaquiles but they didn’t come. Also the wifi didn’t work so they had to come to the room to set it up. The password was totally different from one that was provided. The swimming pool attached to the room was nice but little too small. It was more like a hot tub size. The guest above splashed the water on us many times. The beach was disappointing. Only way to get to the water was from the dock. The waves were strong and the water wasn’t clear so we gave up on snorkeling. It is a nice place to stay if you just want to relax and enjoy the view. Also the dinner was delicious. We expected a better service for the price we paid.

The place itself is fabulous! There are sweeping and mysterious ocean views. The sunsets are absolutely magical. There are many green spaces to be, with hammocks, kayaks, and a private beach. The property itself is very unique and well-maintained. I have to say that I did not see a sense of joy with the people there (except maybe the kitchen staff). The concierge does her job well and the amenities are brilliant. There was, however, a certain gloomy feeling with the rest of the staff- no smiles, no joy. As a solo traveler, we notice all of these details- the lack of support and attention for a place such as this. It could be that the overall tenor about the property is representative for the difficult times we are living in, or perhaps it is a mere manifestation of an internal problem I am not aware of. Whatever the case may be, it is not my duty to analyze and try to understand- I am the guest. I go there to relax, unwind, and FORGET about my troubles. The room I stayed in picks up all sounds from the goings on above the maintenance yard and the concierge quarters. I heard emotional love conversations, loud machismo street talk, profanity, and outright nonsense from staff! I felt uncomfortable at times and chose not to leave my room for fear of facing them, having heard all of their “real” feelings. This totally killed the experience for me. For what they charge, this is one issue they really need to consider- make your solo travelers feel at home. There’s work to do!

Location and rooms are great very nice place would stay again.

The staff is extremely hospitable and welcoming. My husband and I had a great anniversary and birthday! They made it incredibly special for us and even brought out a cake at dinner!

The property was magical. Post card like. Very clean, open, bright and unique. Very nice balance of green, rock and water.

If you want to relax, de-stress, then this is the place do do it. Awesome food, they WILL do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable. The property you ask? well... amazing views... Never seems crowded ...always feel like your have your run of the place. The Staff there will be your friends by the end of the trip. Book now!

There are a number of separate areas on the property that allow you to have some privacy outdoors and with only 7 rooms we never felt crowded. The staff are very friendly and made us feel at home. One thing I would change is to have a coffee maker in the room as coffee isn't readily available until 7:30 a.m.
