This hotel was incredible. They picked me up from the airport (do use that service: it is very inexpensive and is worth it). The rooms were great. The staff was extremely attentive. When I arrived, they offered me a room upgrade for a very small fee. It is all the little things that matter: flowers on the bed, a fruit basket upon arrival, a safe that is big enough to be able to store a MacBookPro, beds that DON'T give you a backache, etc. Even after I had checked out, they allowed me to use the business center for the better part of the day, so that I could get some work done. During my stay, I had to complete a real estate transaction. The hotel printed out all of the documents. They had me sign them. And then they scanned them back in and sent them to me as an email. They didn't even charge me for it (as most big hotel chains would have done). The hotel restaurant doesn't officially have any vegan options (it is a French bakery), but if you ask nicely, the kitchen will do a creation (e.g. a vegetable/noodle stir-fry) that is very good, healthy, vegan and inexpensive. The hotel also gave us tips about what to see in the city, how to avoid being ripped off, and what the best way of getting to various places is. The best thing of all was that they assigned a cellphone to each room, so that those in our group could communicate with each other, with the hotel and with restaurants without having to use the ridiculously expensive local cellphone network with our home phones.
