Hotel Quinta Real

Loved it! Es muy bonito, habitaciones limpias, el personal es increíblemente amable, buen desayuno.

This property was very comfortable and looks like the photos you see in the ad. The staff was very polite and food was great! Love the included breakfast! We will most likely not return because of the area. It was very rough to drive though with a lot of night life and very dirty and rugged streets. They also didn’t offer great parking options, the security guard was VERY nice to watch our vehicle Over night. Mostly because of the area, we didn’t care for the hotel much.

My overall stay was wonderful. The staff was great and treated me like a princess. The pool and beach were clean. The food was good. The bed was comfy. The only negative thing I have to say is that considering that it is such an elegant hotel, the really loud and rather obnoxious music they played at pool was like being at a hostel. I could hear it clear in my room.

This is the best hotel in La Ceiba. OK there are a bunch of reviews complaining about this and that but we are talking about La Ceiba here, this is not New York and this is not The Plaza hotel. Of course it is not $400 a night either. Just ignore the complaining reviews, they do not present an accurate picture of this hotel. For La Ceiba this is a very good hotel. The only two complaints I have is the room rate is a bit high for what you are getting and the swimming pool was not operating when I was there. Other wise it was a very enjoyable experience. The staff were generally nice with the odd person maybe having a bad day, but if you smile and laugh with them they soon perk up, as in any situation. The breakfast was good and you can order something if the buffet was a bit barren when you got there. They have some very comfortable outside seating where you can sit in the shade and look out at the ocean from under palm tree fronds. There is a pretty good bar and restaurant across the road and a goofy little casino a block away if you like that. The restaurant (La Palapa) has good entertainment but is busy on Sat nights and service is slow. What's not to like?? If you can afford it by all means go here. You will not find a better place in the city.

This once was one of the great hotel in La Ceiba, Atlántida. I was really disappointed to see the premises and room deteriorated. Yes, it was a room with kind of a ocean room due to being in the second floor and area surrounded by coconuts palms. Front desk staff were polite but not necessarily friendly in fact the watchmen outside was more of “rolodex” when it came to give directions and advises. I got to the restaurant at 9:45am (didn’t realized breakfast stops at 10am) nor the supervisor or the cashier were paying attention to the fact that I had walk-into the room and yet when they did they were asking each other about : if the time for breakfast was up? Very tacky.

Would've appreciated a microwave and coffee maker in room, but other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

This property has extremely poor customer service. They also charged us for items we never consumed and tried to double charge us. We had already paid the bill and after we left they told other members of our party money was still due. After we returned they said never mind. Very dishonest be extra careful if you stay here.

The best hotel in La Ceiba

This is a beautiful hotel on the beach. It has a refreshing pool with a full service bar. There is a delicious restaurant on site and they will serve you in their air conditioned dining room or outside overlooking the beach. The rooms are clean and the bed was great. The internet was exceptionally fast for Honduras. The staff was great. They made you feel like you were at a 5 star hotel. Definitely loved it here.
