Best Western Plus Arlington/Marysville

Staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel room very clean and comfortable. I will definitely go back and/ or recommend this hotel to family and friends

Very clean, comfortable bed and furniture. Excellent breakfast considering COVID-19 restrictions, and hot breakfast at that. Pool and hot tub closed. Staff very polite and courteous. Difficult entrance to find.

We have stayed at this specific Best Western probably 30 times in the last 3 years. We have a dog, and its familiar and always pet friendly. We've always had excellent service but seems like, the product as a whole, is going downhill. Guests throwing their trash Outside of the garbage cans. The smell in our room was awful. I could also smell cigarette smoke in the halls/elevator (not saying anyone was smoking on the floor, but it was heavy). The front desk staff don't seem as engaging or friendly as they used to be (this is not referring to all, but only a couple - and I'm sure covid has something to do with that). As always, the breakfast staff were wonderful, excited to see me, helpful, and just lovely. The housekeeping (although they are super friendly) has always been hit or miss. This trip, we got cleaning on 2 days, and we didn't on other days. We had to make trips to front desk just to get towels, toilet paper, coffee, take out garbage, etc. If they are limiting the housekeeping on extended stays, they should let people know they will only clean every other day (which is what it seemed). We leave tips daily for housekeeping because we know how hard they work and it's different staff all the time. We make about 6-10 trips each year to the area (less now with covid), but I think we will try out another pet friendly hotel on our next trip just to get some other options. It isn't a cheap hotel, and we don't mind the cost, but wish it was a better experience.

Convenient location and well taken care of. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was ample and nicely done. Even though we stayed during Covid, breakfast gave choices that were well thought out and tasty. We enjoyed our stay and would enjoy staying again.

The location was great. Front desk needs some training as no one was present most of the time. At night the front desk was not helpful. Room had no black out curtains so the sun was incredibly bright and not conducive to seep. The buttons on the remote were not all working and front desk could not help with the problem.

I set a reservation directly with Best Western Plus Arlington/Marysville as a gift for my parents from 7/4/20 - 7/5/20. We wanted them to have a nice place to stay so they could come enjoy a fireworks show with us. I called the morning of the 4th & spoke to a person so that my credit card could be charged up front so my parents would not need to pay for anything. The person I spoke to advised me that I would need to physically go to the hotel to swipe a card because they could not take the information over the phone. My other option was to cancel & re-book with Expedia and pay for it up front. I decided to go through Expedia because we had alot going on that day & I did not have time to drive to Best Western. I actually was able to secure a nicer room through my Expedia booking. On the 4th, my parents checked in early & headed to our place for the fireworks. When the show was over, they headed to the hotel but they were not comfortable staying. They were concerned about COVID & decided to just drive home. A couple of days later I decided to check with Expedia to see if I could get a refund of a part of the cost since the room was $178./night. Expedia contacted Best Western as they said it was their decision and was told that no refund is available because I booked it non-refundable. It would have been nice if they would have at least refunded a portion of the cost since I'm sure they did not have the outlay of staff, etc. since my parents did not stay in the room.

The hotel was conveniently located just a minute or two away from almost every restaurant option, store or shopping you may need. The fact that my conference was in the hotel was even more convenient. The pool was warm, the fitness area was clean, and the staff was accommodating. The breakfast was great every morning, with a staff member making omelets to order if you so desired. The only thing I wasn’t completely satisfied with, were the pillows. I cannot sleep with a big fluffy pillow, and so I would suggest having a thinner pillow option on the bed, for those that need it. Otherwise everything met my needs and expectations.
