Property was beautiful for being 180 years needs some maintenance. Customer service was poor. There was a fire no alarms on are floor , at 2:00 am . Smoke in are room on first floor. But again no alarm going off. Firefighters woke us up with noise. And still the next nothing from staff! All are close smelling of smoke. With no apology for staff.
Amazing. Very present and engaged owners. Free hot breakfast off of the menu was awesome.
Beautiful place! Extremely comfortable and very clean too. Great location. I will be back!
My cousin and I decided to visit Natchez, being so close to N.O. The Guest House Historic Mansion was a perfect choice. The location is very convenient and within walking distance to tour the Mansions in the neighborhood, and the Miss. River. The staff were great. Jessica at the desk was so helpful and give us good tips. Henry, was a ray of sunshine at our morning breakfast. He is a native and was so chipper. He shared much of the history of Natchez. Our breakfast was good; the coffee was good and unlimited; 24hrs. The house and our room was like stepping into the novel, "Gone with the Wind". The rooms are inspected by the owner after each cleaning to make sure it is perfect. We sat on the rocking chairs one evening, on the grand front porch, with a glass of wine, just rocking away the evening. There is also inside parlors to sit and soak in the grandeur of days past. It is well maintained and smelled so good.
Our stay was great! All the people were very friendly. We got an upgrade to our room to have access to the porch where we had wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. The location was perfect for us and we will definetly stay here again when we come to Natchez. Henry served breakfast and brought a pot of coffee to the porch to freshen our cups before breakfast. Added touches through the stay.
Very historic. Friendly and pleasant staff. Comfortable room.
We got the last of available rooms. It was fine, but we surmised it was a little sub par to other rooms. It was the far end room next to the parking lot. The service was very good, especially at breakfast, which was also very good. It was so nice to have a coffee service available before breakfast, too. Overall, the atmosphere, location, and friendly staff gave us a very good Natchez experience.
We have stayed at the Guest House several times and have always enjoyed our stay.
We had an amazing weekend at the Guest House. The check in was smooth and Jay was there for us to answer all of our questions from shopping, tours, cab service to restaurant suggestions. The location was great too!
Excellent service!!
