Holiday Inn Express & Suites N Waco Area - West

When visiting I always stay here near job location and hotel is very clean

The motel was clean and the room was quiet. They did offer breakfast to go, that you ordered the previous day. However they didn't always get it right. But I still give kudos for trying.

Front desk was empty upon arrival. Was not allowed a 1 hr early check in for a wedding. Never did receive complimentary breakfast and TV only worked 50% of the time. Not worth the current rate.

Clean, quiet. Check in is 3pm not 4 and there is no mini golf at this location. Staff very professional and courteous

Walked into a freezing room, turned the heat on the 72 on the wall thermostat seemed like heat was coming out of the wall unit went to sleep and woke up to a 63 degree room, we have a 5 month old baby and now he’s sick, plus the front desk lady spoke to us like we are idiots and didn’t know how to work a thermostat, my husband is an hvac tech! Horrible stay!!

A great stay very clean the staff was wonderful Toni checked us in quickly informing of the breakfast changes due to covid while I would not have minded an open breakfast bar others as well as corporate do . So the only negative at this time is restrictions put on hotels . I will stay again when in the area.

We evacuated from Laura to West. This is a great little hotel, very clean, very friendly staff. The bed was comfy. Room was large. Nice store right next door if you need anything. The store delivered breakfast to the hotel for all of the storm evacuees. West city council member came in and said more food would be coming in for evacuees. Great hotel! Great little town! Any time passing through the area we highly recommend staying here.

The property was pet AND people friendly. We were evacuees and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. They even went door to door to let us know there was free food for us whenever we wanted to come ask for it from their fridge.

Check in was smooth and nice.... that is where it ended. The phone in the room did not work. The woman, Tony, at the front desk would not allow for a late check out. There was a screaming child just across from me. I did not get much if any sleep. I was hoping that extra hour would give me a little rest, but she said absolutely not. When told about the child she said I am sure the parents are not enjoying a screaming child either. Seriously? Nice empathy. I won’t stay at this location again. I drove from Waco because I felt this might be the better choice, was I ever wrong.

Everything was nice. The only problem was the tv remote didn’t work.
