Hotel del Marquesado

Very clean and friendly. Location is not close to the Zocalo

It was near a restaurant so I was able to get food there. It’s was like 15 minutes away from the airport.

People here are super nice and the Hotel is close to downtown super convenient for walking distance

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk to major museums and cathedrals. A desk was available to arrange tours and common trips into the countryside. The shower had some issues initially with hot and cold knobs being hard to turn. I actually stayed here a total of 10 days, and this issue improved over time. The restaurant in the hotel was alright for breakfast but was not available for much else. One had to walk a few blocks to a restaurant or a nearby grocery. There was no shop inside the hotel for buying items like combs, toothpaste, snacks. I always felt safe, and doors were locked after hours for security. At other times, the office was at the entrance. For the price, it was a good value. The friendliness of the staff was its biggest asset.

Convenient walk downtown. Staff are incredibly accommodating and helpful.

I felt a bit nervous at first, especially because of our late-night arrival. The staff made us feel comfortable and scheduled their shuttle to pick us up close to midnight. Once they called me to verify my arrival, I felt at ease and knew they were taking care of me.

The hotel looks like it has recently been renovated. It is within a short walk of El Zocalo.

The hotel is extremely clean, nice stuff , 25 minutes walking distance to zocalo. The room # 103 is horrible, is completley dark ( no windows at all , is a noisy room because is beside of cistern, the door lock doesn't work. IF YOU CONTRACT THIS HOTEL SAY THAT YOU DONT WANT THE ROOM #103. (will affect your vacations.)

Just I have one complaint. The hotel don’t have ice machine available for the guests.

Staff didn’t even acknowledge we were there. We were never greeted.
