Freundlicher Empfang, renovierte Zimmer, optimales Motel
it was a emergency trip stay quick stay
Only issue I had was the smell. Non-smoking room that smelled like someone had just smoked a full carton of cigarettes in it. I mentioned it to management but never heard back. Looked at air filter in bathroom and did not look like it had been replaced in the last decade, pretty disgusting. Bed was hard but slept fine. During time of Covid and employees were not wearing their masks unless interacting with customers IF they too were wearing a mask.
Staff members were pretty awesome. Manager worked with us on getting payment to the property a little late. Very patient. Late night weirdos we're the only issues we had
To start it off.... The young lady with the blue hair at the desk acted annoyed that we were even there. She looked as if she was to busy on her phone. That was the first warning of what was about to come. Tweekers all over the parking lot, and it appeared they were living in there cars. They were extremely loud and drunk. And to top it off, one of them or another couple were outside yelling, swearing, and arguing about their relationship until 2 in the morning. That was the last time I looked at the clock. And I can not explain how loud and profane it was. It sounded like they were right outside our door. I was rather upset that management would even allow this to occur. Obviously they didn't care. Worst experience ever. Spend the extra money and avoid this hotel at all costs. Horrible... Horrible... Horrible.
Two HUGE problems we had on our week long stay here: 1. They advertise free WiFi, but it is so slow it is completely unusable (every page timed out before it could actually load). They have a paid WiFi ($4.99/day) option that is supposed to be 2-3Mbps (not a great speed, either), but you can't even get it because the people in the lobby don't know how to set you up with the needed passcode. So, if you are normal human who expects to have usable WiFi when the hotel advertises free WiFi, look elsewhere!!! 2. I was here for work. I worked 4 overnight shifts during my week stay. All 4 days, I explained I needed to sleep during the day, and made it very clear that I did NOT want housekeeping knockimg on my door, and I was promised they wouldn't. They accomplished this ONE out of the 4 days. So, they couldnt follow simple instructions and keep their customer service promise 3/4 days. That is horrible customer service! Other things to note: The room was noticeably dirty upon check-in. And with the heater running almost 24 hours a day, the room was a barely tolerable temp (which was weird, cuz it wasn't even too cold outside). I will never stay here again. We moved over to Travelodge across the street, and it has been SOOOOO much better! Worth the higher price!
Got a room with broken heater when outside was 30F
Other guests were noisy until 3am, road noise, and no bathtub. Bed wasn't comfortable. Orange paint ugh.
Check in clerk was unfriendly and grumpy. Otherwise the hotel was okay overall.
Room smelled of stale cigarettes, and wasn’t very clean.
