Helles, sauberes Zimmer, gute Betten, gut gelegen, großes Bad. Wasserstrahl in der Dusche spärlich. Für eine Übernachtung empfehlenswert.
Einfacher Check-inn,Zimmer besser als erwartet
Clean and good facilities. Staff friendly and helpful, would recommend!
Good location in the town and nice bar. Not providing breakfast is not an issue as there is an excellent cafe within 20 yards. Our only criticism was that we did not receive a communication with the door code to get in - had to explore around the back to find an unlocked door.
It was a rather strong chlorine smell in the bathroom.
We stayed in room 10. The room size was about 9 ft by 9 ft with a double bed leaving a maximum of 30 inches on any side. No space for a wardrobe or chest of drawers but eventually found an over hanging rail. The room was on the second floor no lift. Apart from the first contact with a helpful young lady, we didn,t meet any other member of staff. Would not stay or recomend again.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I only saw one staff member who gave me a room key. No face cloths and no hot water and no breakfast. A key drop to check out
Roughly 8pm after me and my other half had finished work we set off from Nottingham to Dover for our stay. Hotels.com says contact the property about check in, so we did, letting them know that we would arrive roughly 12.30am - 1am, which they agreed would be okay and if we need help to give them a ring on this number. We arrived approximately at 12.45, to a door showing it was self check in which is not a problem. The problem was that it said on the door we would have received check in details, the pin and room number prior to arriving, either text or email, which after thorough checking emails, spam, deleted, texts and also hotels.com website messages, there was no sign of any contact. We rang the camera operated doorbell, rang the number I previously rang, the number on the sheet of paper on the check in door, the number above the door on the sign, and the number on the internet. All of these number were different, but proceeded to call all of them with no answer. We left a text also to help with getting a response. Therefore after no response at all at the hotel, we were left to our own devices to find a hotel - at which took us until 4am with unfortunately little help from hotels.com. Sadly, we have still not heard from the hotel directly with any kind of apology which I find quite rude in itself, but if you do book this hotel - check the day before you arrive that you have the details for the room, and you may not get in!
This is a basic room, clean and comfortable, and a good stopover for the ferry. It is above a very nice Indian restaurant, and there are plenty of other eating places nearby
