Check in is difficult. The online part is good but not a complete or clear process . The small print says you have to make arrangements the day prior otherwise its via phone. When you call it just says "google account user" and you cant get anyone to pick up until after 4 pm. if you need assistance or clarification. I had to drive to property management office but no one was there so I finally got through via phone. Too many steps to check in.
It was a great place to be. Will be back next time we are in the area. Thank you!
It was excellent
Everything seemed pretty clean, bed was ok nothing to write home about, the sheets didn’t fit the bed. The living room furniture leaves room to be desired.
Arrived to causation tape over the parking area, caution tape on the balconies and roofers doing work on our building and the one next to us. Lots of construction workers- no other guests dumb enough to actually check in to to a mess like this. Felt unsafe-unattended and there was NO AMENITIES available either.
We submitted the requested online check in but never heard back with the required information to get into the room. When we arrived at around 4pm, nobody was there and nobody answered the phone at the phone # given at the door. After attempting to reach someone for almost 2h, we left to find another accommodation. Hoping that Hotels.com will get us a refund.
I’ve stayed at Reunion properties before & have always had a great time. HOWEVER THIS PARTICULAR PROPERTY DOES NOT STAND UP TO REUNION PROPERTY 1 STANDARDS. * The Deluxe Villa looked rundown on the inside ( broken items, dirty doors/walls, things literally falling apart & roaches) * The linen was dirty & we found hair on the spear pillows in the closet. * The stove is a safety hazard. Used it once in the morning & all day there was a sent of gas. We checked all knobs on the stove to ensure it was off, which there no instructions on the stove for the direction of the knobs. On our side the stove was off, however when maintenance came 1 knob was the wrong direction. * On our 2nd night stay no TV working except the livening room, all the TV’S connection lost/not connected. Maintenance came to try & repair, however he couldn’t. * The patio furniture was dirty which ruined our clothes. * HORRIBLE WIFI SIGNAL.. Now a days where we all depend on our phone & most of us are working from our phone, the signal was the worst we’ve ever experienced on any trip. * Master Bedroom bed wheel was stick out which we constantly hit our foot on it. We specifically picked this property since it indicated it was renovated Feb 2016, but the villa we were in was rundown. Even thou check-in was easy we had no map or information of the property amenities locations. Customer service answered all of our calls on the first try and sent maintenance ASAP to fix/resolve our issues.
Room was gross and my family literally couldn’t breath in the room. Never going there again.
The couch was so filthy my guest wouldn’t even sit on it! In the master bedroom the bed was VERY uncomfortable!!
We have stayed at Reunion Resort through this company a handful of times and always enjoy returning to it. This time, there were a few disappointments. Pros- room was clean, we had a great view, and with COVID there were way fewer people. We even had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves one afternoon. Cons- we did not receive check in info as indicated in the confirmation email. I had to call for it, which made me wonder what would’ve happened if I hadn’t done that prior to the end of the office hours. The room had some updates but was rundown in other parts- carpet and couch stained, two TVs didn’t connect to cable right, one room door had a large dent in it, oven smoked so much that the smoke alarms went off just while preheating even though there were no obvious reasons for this. It was a gas range, which made it all a little scarier to me. The most disappointing was that booking through this company does NOT give you access to the on-site water park anymore. This is not explicitly noted on hotels.com or their website. For guests who have stayed here before when this wasn’t the case, it comes as quite a surprise when you discover this AS YOU WALK UP to the entry way WITH YOUR EXCITED kids, only to be informed that reunion resorts water park no longer has a partnership with 1791, and that entering would come with a few. 1791 really should be more upfront about this so that prospective guests can make an informed decision.
