Mangrove Hotel

Our stay at the Mangrove Hotel Broome.

My husband had a great experience and stay for the night. We entered our room and it felt fresh, clean and airy. We were left with complementary water which is standard in most hotels. We had dinner down the road with a friends or we could have opted to eat at the restaurant. The only disappointment is the food served at the restaurant is average and nothing to wow about compared to the restaurant at Bali Hai Hotel Broome which is exquisite.

Location was good to the town,but unfortunately the room we stayed in was dirty,bed uncomfortable and chairs in the room stained, also outside furniture was tiered and dirty, feel accomodation needs investment.

Excellent Hotel, Great Location

We spent two weeks at the Mangrove and loved it. The rooms were very spacious with a sitting area of a sofa and two armchairs. The bathroom was large with excellent lighting and a huge mirror so no stress when two people are getting ready. We had a lovely view over the pool and the bay. The gardens are nice and the lawn area in front of the bar was perfect for viewing the Staircase to the Moon. There is no longer a restaurant because of Covid but the bar food was good from steaks to pizza and brilliant sweet potato chips. The staff were excellent, always cheerful and helpful. Good location, four kms from the airport and walking distance to Chinatown where most of the restaurants are. Would definitely stay there again.

What Pool View ?

Booked on line and spoke to resort over the phone as was booking a night away for my mum. They said they would give her a nice room poolside but neglected to say pool was empty. I asked if they had balcony rooms which they said yes but when mum got there, there was no rooms with balconies, just a window that’s view was covered by a big tree. She was most upset and cried the entire time. Why they lied is beyond me and wasn’t worth the $149 paid at all.

Hotel is centrally located. Car park in the open across the road not very good idea, I was lucky managed to secure parking near room. Staff excellent had a slight problem with my room and was moved to another within minutes. Really enjoyed my stay.

Every thing was fine. The only concern was that there was insufficient parking close to my room and leaving the hire car exposed was of concerning given the excess should it have been damaged.

the location is terrific , it overlooks the Mangroves of Roebuck Bay and to watch the tidal movements is fantastic, its close to town, Resort is older but the rooms are large and comfortable, the pool are and the outside Bar is is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The view over the mangroves is amazing. I don’t know where else in the world you would see this. The property is quite quiet. There weren’t many people around. The gardens are lovely. The two pools are beautiful but quite small for resort pools.
