This property is a scam, Expedia should remove it
immediately. Upon arriving, we were given the wrong room, we were disappointed as the whole premise of irooms are the various themes it offers. We booked ITube and were instead given IZen. We contacted the manager and explained we were given the wrong room- he replied saying “We made the change believing that a larger room would be to your liking. We are sorry if this was not the case.” My husband called to explain we wanted the room we originally booked as we liked the features. Plus the IZen was extremely outdated, had dirty walls, some bugs, a bent toilet seat, and the main door was very hard to close as it got stuck on the wall. The manager told us we could move rooms the following morning. The next morning we received a text stating that the iroom customers would be leaving the NEXT day and then we could switch. Not only did he lie about the day we could switch, he also lied about the reason for not giving us the room we booked- he had said he thought we would like the bigger (albeit worse) room- when in reality he had double booked. We were only staying 4 nights, so half the time wasn’t in the room on our booking, we asked for a refund only to be met with arguments, lies and false accusations. Finally after days of requests, the manager agreed to give a refund, even sent a fake receipt of the refund. It has been a month and we still haven’t received it. Upon contacting him, we were left on read and ignored.
