Casa de las Palomas Boutique Hotel

Das Hotel liegt in einer der schönsten Straßen Meridas in der viele kleine bunte Häuschen stehen. Der Pool ist super um sich in der Mittagshitze von der staubigen Stadt zurück zu ziehen und dann frisch in den Abend zu starten. Alles Sehenswerte ist Fußläufig. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der oberen Etage, die Dusche ist im Freien zu einem kleinen Hinterbereich hinaus, der nicht einsichtig ist. Was gestört hat waren die Bewohner unter uns die in ihrem Bereich geraucht haben... dafür kann das Hotel nichts aber er war unangenehm wenn man unter der Dusche stand...

Super nettes Personal in einem tollen Boutique Hotel im typischen Hacienda Stil. Ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß und 3 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Stadtzentrum

A nice sweet boutique hotel near downntown. very quiet, clean and perfect for relaxing and going out everyday to walk and learn about the City.

This place is amazing! From a warm and very effective service to a great location and beautiful premises. We greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Casa de las Palomas. The decoration is beautiful and the main room is big and so comfortable. Plus you get a mini pool inside the room which is great for a romantic stay. My girlfriend loved it. It is a short walking distance to practically everything you want to see from the Downtown and Paseo Montejo. You can walk to a lot Cantinas (Please visit La Negrita and Alux) and restaurants. They provide free parking around the block. All the staff always greeted us with a smile and they were very helpful to any questions we had. They have an outdoor pool and since it's not a big hotel, you pretty much have for yourself most of the time. They provide breakfast for a charge, but we didn't get to try it other that free coffee that they offered when we left. I would love to go back and stay there and highly recommend it for couples and to explore city.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Our room was very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, especially the outdoor shower! We enjoyed sitting by the pool and have access to large communal kitchen. I would recommend the hotel provides a map to find the off site parking, it was not easy to locate.

This is the best hidden jem in Merida. It feels like you're at home and Vladimir and his Dog Delta will will always go above and beyond to help you. The outdoor shower was sexy ;)

The hotel was very comfortable and room very nice. We had a king size with garden view. other rooms may be small. Pool is very small and water was quite cold, breakfast was very simple and service very slow, so better to go to a nearby restaurant. Location good, a short 15 min walk to center or the paseo Montejo. We would go again but be sure to take the larger room

We were sold a deluxe room with garden views, but what we got was a room close to the reception, without windows (only a small window in the toilet). That window looked to the toilets, and it had a horrible smell. The hotel hires the pool and gardens for wedding photo shoots, so it is unusable. The people in reception were not used, did not apologise for the selling something that it was not what we bought. The management did not help or empathise with us. After wasting 5 hours chatting to hotels.com and talking to management, we didn't have any other option but stay in for one night and had to book another hotel for the rest of our stay. We did not sleep at all, because the room is close to the street and reception. Some other clients, tried to open our room thinking it was the toilets. We learnt that there are plenty of Boutique hotels in Merida that are nicer and cheaper than Casa de las Palomas.

Beautiful small hotel in an attractive and quiet area of Mérida. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service is excellent and it’s a great base for exploring both Mérida and surrounding areas. Good breakfast included and the manager had excellent suggestions for places to visit. Highly recommended.
