An Lam Retreats Saigon River

Wonderful place in all ways!!! Room was great! Breakfast amazing! Dinner options many and all great! Pool was very nice and the atmosphere and staff wounderful!

Food was excellent / refuge from Saigon / private pool and water taxi made the trip

My partner and I spent 2 wonderful days at An Lam after returning to HCMC after a 3 day cycling trip through the Mekong Delta. We arrived hot, dusty and a bit sore, but An Lam eased all of this. What a beautiful, peaceful, amazing place! From the moment of arrival, when our personal "butler" Le welcomed us directly to our room and did our check-in procedure there while we rested comfortably, from the time we reluctantly left after Le arranged our taxi to the airport, we relaxed in the luxurious surroundings. The personal plunge pool immediately outside the door to our room helped us stay cool and comfortable, the pillowy bed helped us sleep soundly, and the restaurant amply satisfied us. I hope to be back at An Lam some day, preferably soon.

Beautiful hotel - remote location - 45 minutes from saigon by car. Nice escape from the city. Excellent food and amazing view

I have stayed in many hotels in the world and I could say the room I stayed in is one of the best if not the best. we had a wonderful experience. the room had an unbeatable layout and well thought out design and decor. it was most relaxing and it didn't cost an arm and leg. there was total privacy in the room I was given

i enjoyed my stay at an lam retreats Saigon river. hung my butler was very helpful. the staff was very nice. the setting was very relaxing and tranquil. the food from the restaurant was tasty. a bit far for local tours to come to pick you up but was easy to arrange a mini van to get in town to meet with tour guide.

The property was a little oasis of beauty and comfort.

A misunderstanding in booking transfer left us waiting at the airport. Needless to say we were quite angry both with our selves and the staff we had chatted with. BUT after getting hold of the hotel hotline we decided to take a taxi to the hotel and management and staff provided top service the rest of our stay. One really nice detail was that our butler gave us a phone so we could him directly when we ventured into town with the very nice free speedboat citytransfer the hotel regularly provided during the day. The hotel has a very nice garden and is located on a quiet part of the river in the city. From our riverside pool villa we could ofcourse heat the boat traffic when they passed closed by, but we never lost a minute sleep on that account:) We talked about how funny it was that when trucks are replaced by riverbarges then suddenly heavy commercial traffic becomes an attraction in it self.

An Lam is a very special place. We arrived late at night/early in the morning, and our butler was waiting for us by the gate. When we walked onto the property, we could tell that An Lam was a very special and unique place. Our rooms faced a pool, the restaurant and the Saigon river. We dropped our bags, and took a swim in a lovely, intimate pool that had bouganvillia draping over it, waterfalls, and lovely stately palm trees. Our rooms were very spacious, well appointed, very clean and just lovely. Our butler went above and beyond for us: he answered our every need - even those we didn’t think of on our own. He arranged taxis, water taxis, and a back of the bike tour. He also provided a cell phone to us so that we could call him anytime. We stayed for 3 nights before moving o to Phu Quoc. This was our first visit to Vietnam, and we look forward to many, many more during which we plan to return to An Lam.
