The property was very quaint inside which was lovely. We stayed in room 11 right at the top of the property and there is a lovely view of the garden from that room. The room was very cosy and I loved the beams. The shower worked really well and I loved the little touches like soaps and shampoo and conditioner. I especially loved the mini bottle of Prosecco. Those touches are what makes the break extra special. The bed was extremely comfortable too. The only thing I did not like was the window sill was full of dust and dirt so clearly had not been cleaned. I also did not realise that breakfast was an extra charge at £9 per person so we had breakfast elsewhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked for advice on where was good to eat etc. It is also just 3 minutes walk into the city. A very enjoyable stay and I would go back again.

Nice B&B, very well located - just a few minutes to walk to the minster and shambles. Clean and quiet rooms with modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet. Overall a nice stay and worth to go back.

Wonderful York
Such a nice guest house with cheap parking close by (which is hard to find in York). I really enjoyed my mini solo holiday touring North England. York was the highlight on my tour. Only small disappointment was lack of view. But that’s how these historical buildings were made. I will return with my kids when they are a bit older.

Stayed ere few times lovely .I actually like the room I stayed in this time and try and get that again number 18.or 17 15. Also twin on ground floor. I go there cause there ground floor. As struggle with stairs . Always ring book direct u get it bit cheaper. Definitely back next year. Oh and breki is lovely
