So, I needed a hotel so that I could sleep for a couple of hours to finish my shopping and stuff in NYC before I headed upstate. It was Saturday night and so most hotels were booked so they told me they had an opening at Oasis, go figure! I paid $217 just to stay at what turned out to be a disgusting disaster. Arrived about midnight and had to be out by 11am. When I got to the hotel I seen that the waiting area looked like the pits! I literally waited 7minutes for the elevator and during that time 3 people came in also so I was cramed in their nasty elevator heading up to the 4th floor. When I got to the 4th floor and used the key they gave me it didn't work. I tried a couple times to no avail. I had to call the front desk and he said he was sending someone up. I waited in the freezing cold outside the room door for 10 minutes for the man to arrive to open the door with a new key and into the smelly apartment I went. The bathroom smelled like urine, the curtains I had to tuck into the corners because it wouldn't completely cover the windows. I was soo completely uncomfortable. I ended up not taking a shower because It was soo filthy and I slept on top of the blanket concerned if they even changed the sheets judging by the smelly room. They tell you on the phone when you book the reservation that you're money isn't refundable so I was soo disappointed. Big mistake booking a room at this filthy shack of a place! NEVER AGAIN!!! :(
