SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Lubbock Medical Center

I didn’t dislike the room. I disliked my experience. For starters, the first room I went in had blood on the wall so they switched rooms. Second, they overcharged me twice. I had arrived a day early and I paid for that stay through the hotel. The girl charged my card twice for one night. The second overcharge happened because they didn’t grant me the price that I got from Expedia. They charged me their regular rate. She did give me ten dollars back but according to Expedia price, it was suppose to be 40 dollars. I had to wipe and spray my room because it was sooo dusty. I asked for room service to clean my room and the lady didn’t bother to make my bed. The bed wasn’t filthy so I am thankful for that.

The front desk was rude. There were bugs on the floor of the hotel room, the elevator didn’t work right, laundry room was about 6 feet by 6 feet in size. Definitely a super low end hotel.

Facility and room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was well lighted for security.

The facility was clean, easy access to the room. Room, bath, bed was clean. Liked the wooden tile inlay floor, over carpet. floor was very clean. Inside and out was lite up for security. Quiet environment.

Hotel room was very clean and cozy. The hotel in general doesn't look too appealing from the outside but do not let this not book a room

Parking lot and hotel grounds are extremely dark with lots of places for someone to be lurking and I did not feel safe. Do not recommend for female travelers.

It was quiet and clean room. Older so dont expect upgrades. Cable good. Laundry has one washer and dryer.

Our stay was Great. We only had 1 problem and that was the AC. during the day with the curtins open it was nice and cold. Just the way we like it. But at night when we went to sleep we would close the curtins and it would get hot and stuffy. Other than that our stay was great. everyone was nice and friendly. I will stay here again when visiting.

Excellent customer service and hotel is very clean!

We accidentally left phone charger in the hotel. When returned an hour later, they told us that it's not there. They took it and lied to us. The place is cheap, noisy, mattress is very hard and uncomfortable, pillows are synthetic junk, sheets are not clean. Overall, the feel of a cheap motel for $20 a day. Stay away!
