Grand Hotel Capodimonte

Our shower drain was backed up and water will fill up the shower and leak all over the flood. Wecalled for assistance and no one ever came back to fix the issue. WiFi service was terrible and barely worked inside the room.

Very friendly and nice people at the front desk.

No coffee in the room...they do offer cold drinks in the fridge which was welcoming after a days travel but no coffee maker for a warm drink at night or first thing in the morning. The lady that checked us in was super nice and helpful but at night the bar was closed because they had many students visiting and obviously were providing an evening meal which was not offered to other guests but took the bar man away from the bar to help with the meal. The night reception guy told me it was not his job to attend the bar which was located next to reception and was empty. The bar required no skills as it offered only bottled beer of 2 types which literally required a bottle opener. I was told the bar normally is open until 10pm but not tonight because of the students. This was disappointing as the hotel is not located near any shops and it made us feel we were not being offered what was advertised because they were busy with students upstairs when literally all the guy had to do was run and grab the bottle opener which clearly he was not prepared to do as he was no barman and obviously wanted to sit at his front desk. We rose early for breakfast to avoid the student thing again occupying the whole dining area and would not return to this Hotel again or recommend it....sorry.

Bottom line - I would use this hotel again. I had a large, comfortable room, with aircon and double glazing. The whole hotel is maintained to an immaculate standard, the breakfast is abundant and most importantly, the staff are all welcoming and more than happy to help you. The location is just outside the city centre but there is a bus stop just a few metres from the hotel and it's a short ride into the centre.

Hotel needs some refurbishment. Rooms fine very clean well serviced . Reception staff excellent really helpful

uno stato decadente

Quasi un romitorio; non è affatto un 4 stelle, si trova in zona isolata, mobili vetusti e doccia con pressione e temperatura dell’acqua al minimo sindacale, coperta del letto caratterizzata da macchie giallastre non rimosse o rimovibili.

Purtroppo non posso essere d'accordo sulle quattro stelle. Giusto invece il rapporto qualità prezzo.
