Iberostar Club Boavista - All Inclusive

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit einem traumhaften Strand. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Essen im Hotel, sowohl morgens, mittags als auch abends absolut zu empfehlen. Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt und es wird sich jederzeit im alle Anliegen gekümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel mit "all inclusive". Direkt am Strand gelegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das wirklich sehr gute Essen. Wer hier nicht satt wird und kulinarisch auf seine Kosten kommt, dem ist nicht zu helfen. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber … Pool, Wege, öffentliche Flächen, Zimmer … alles wird ständig gereinigt. Baden im Meer war im April nur bedingt möglich, da es eine starke Brandung gab. Der Bademeister hat einen schnell zurück gepfiffen, sobald man weiter raus wollte. Bis auf Strand- und Sanddünenspaziergänge bietet die Umgebung nicht viel an. Es gibt aber ein paar Ausflugsmöglichkeiten wie bspw. die von März bis April zu empfehlende Walbeobachtung oder ganzjähriges Quadfahren. Das Animationsteam bietet zahlreiche sportliche oder spielerische Ablenkungen und zeigt beinahe allabendlich ansprechende Tanzshows. Insbesondere für Kinder bis ca. 7 Jahre wird viel unternommen. Meine 10jährige Tochter hingegen hat kaum am Animationsprogramm teilgenommen, da sie das nicht so attraktiv fand. Der recht dichte Flughafen stört nicht, da man die wenigen Flieger kaum wahr nimmt. Es ist oft recht windig (zumindest von November bis Mai). Die Anlage beherbergt viele Katzen, die von den Kindern mit in der Rezeption erhältlichem Futter versorgt werden. WLAN war nicht immer verfügbar bzw. ausreichend schnell, aber insgesamt noch ganz ok.

Hotel war überbucht- bezahltes Zimmer mit Meerblick haben wir nicht erhalten. Wir wurden nach Diskussionen an der Reception eine halbe Stunde stehen gelassen, bis eine später angekommene Gruppe eingecheckt hatte. Beim Ersatzzimmer ist 3 Tage das Schloss nicht richtig aufgegangen, bis endlich die Batterie gewechselt wurde. Im Zimmer hatte es kein WLAN. Ansonsten war alles ok.

All inclusive, very good value for money. We were in a suite with our 3 children overlooking the sea which was very comfortable and spacious. Children loved the food and drinks available all day. Beach is incredible but very windy, we loved it but you have to like warm wind! We walked all along the beach and there are some very impressive sand dunes that the kids loved playing in. Loads of kids games on offer with the animation team but my children don’t like this kind of thing, they preferred playing table tennis and swimming in the sea. We wanted to do some surfing but the waves are not great for this around the hotel. We went on a lovely long walk down the beach to the right to an amazing little cafe for lunch which I would highly recommend. We only stayed for 3 days as we were in Sal for the rest of the week but it was the perfect amount of time and a very beautiful location.

We went to Boa Vista for 4 days and decided to say two days in Riu Palace and two days in Iberostar. Comparing these two hotels, Iberostar loses a lot, but it’s also cheaper. Where to start... The rooms are really basic, as those of a 2-3* hotel. TV in our room wasn’t working on the first day. The shower was broken. Check-in was hectic and the person wasn’t friendly at all. Food was okay, a bit basic, however, alcohol was quite bad (apart from occasional Aperols). Wine is not drinkable at all. The hotel looks very tired and it’s quite dirty as well. We saw a family bathing a toddler wearing a diaper (hopefully clean, but you never know) in the adults swimming pool for 30 minutes - no need to mention that we lost any desire to use this pool for the next few days. The spa was very dirty - dirty cups and orange peel everywhere, toilet in the spa was disgusting. There was absolutely nothing to do at the hotel in the evening when the shows weren’t there (there are shows 5 days a week). It's definitely the worst 5* I’ve seen in my life, but would be great for a 3*resort.

(Wish I'd known about it earlier) Staff: delightful, friendly, helpful

a lot of entertainment going on. The spa was well very relaxing. Lots of very tasty food. Very good wind for kitesurfing directly from the beach in December

We stayed at the iberostar wc: 29:11:19 overall we enjoyed our stay. Food and drink were decent and staff very friendly and helpful. I’m not sure it’s worth the 5 star rating but would stay there again. As a side note the hotel is 5 minutes drive from the airport ( although you don’t notice the airplanes) so transfers are very quick and cheap.

Great hotel with a large property area, beautiful flowers and greenery throughout. The beach is beautiful but it’s a bit far and have to climb up a hill to come back and there are not enough umbrellas for everyone. Otherwise it is absolutely stunning. The pools are great and are open till 8. There is smaller poop with a view of the ocean. Just stunning. I just wish they had sea water pools without so much chlorine. The food was the best. There is a huge variety and staff was very nice and allowed for guests to take food out and take it to the rooms which was great. They picked up the plates and cleared tables very fast. I just wish they served tea at dinner too, not just alcohol. The reception staff was a bit of a disappointment. When we asked the ladies at the reception any question, they just didn’t know and didn’t bother to look up the answer. We still don’t know where they held fitness classes. During the last day I tried to call and ask for someone to help with the suitcases but no one from reception picked up the phone. They just need more people and training there.

Great resort. The only thing I can say that was annoying was the mosquitos.
