Hilton Garden Inn South Padre Island Beachfront

The hotel itself was good. The only problem I had was that I booked a king bed room and they gave me a queen bed room. The bed was horrible. The pillows were horrible as well.

Food vouchers- what a deal ! Good food - great service !

Very nice Hotel. I just didn’t like the bed, it was too hard, but very clean and nice.

What I liked/things about the hotel: • The hotel is getting repainted which is great! • Great location, can walk to Clayton’s • The pool was almost empty. Great if you are concerned about covid. What I didn’t enjoy: • The outside bar being closed. Due to covid? Slow times? They didn’t carry the big cups on the bar inside. • An older man yelling at me in the hallway as I was leaving my room, I know it’s not the Hotel’s fault but that wasn’t nice. I did report it • There was a weird, annoying sound coming from the shower. It never stopped. Was coming from the inside of the wall, no idea what it was.

Room felt dirty. Air conditioner made so much noise. Worst room ever.

I was disappointed in this stay. Initially, we were given a room overlooking the parking lot, even though I had requested an ocean view. After calling & going back down to he reception desk - we had to wait 5 minutes for someone show up to talk about the room. I felt very unsafe that no one mans the front desk in the lobby. There was a problem with the guest in the next room at 4:00am - yelling throwing/dropping things. I tried to call the front desk... the phone didn't work. I tried to call using my cellphone - no answer. Although management said the situation was resolved, the woman was allowed to stay in her room. I feared for my family's safety. The shower head also didn't work. The phone & the shower head were fixed. This facility has a modern design. It's attractive, but the sound reverberates. It was loud. All in all, a disappointing stay.

Check in was easy and staff were very helpful. The only major issue we had was no hot water in the morning.

Ok hotel . Pillows had smell need replacement . Very easy hear others room conversation.

Me and my wife enjoyed everything about the place, they really lived up to my expectations.

The walls and floors are very sensitive to noise. You can hear guests in their rooms talking and laughing when passing by their rooms in the hallway. You can also clearly hear your next door neighbors talking when in your room. It’s a very nice hotel but construction was not made with sound proof materials. The bed had a wood frame that squeaked with every movement all night. Other than that the Hotel is very nice and conveniently close to the beach.
