Room was clean and comfortable. All appliances worked well. The food options at the lodge were adequate but left a little to be desired.

Fantastic!

This was a fantastic stay! You have your own space, it’s walking distance to the tours, and it’s extremely peaceful. It had a full bathroom and fridge which was very convenient as well. We’d highly recommend this stay!

Mammoth Cave was a great Memorial Day weekend trip. Staying in the lodge cabins made everything so easy!

Great lodge to stay overnight

It’s super convenient to stay overnight next to the visitor center after 10 plus hour driving. It’s clean, quiet and decently comfortable for a lodge. We see deer at the parking lot which delighted my daughter. Next morning we had breakfast at the lodge and ready for the cave tour!

Historic Cottage at Mammoth Caves

Cool historic cottage at the Visitor Center to Mammoth Caves. All was great except the very loud A/C unit that went on/off all night.
Suzanne Johnson, 1-night trip

Although it’s an older facility, it was a nice stay… quiet, close to the restaurant and visitor center and cave tours. Food at the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced for a national park facility.

Wonderful

I was tired from hours of driving but the gentleman who greeted us was so personable that I felt revived and relaxed almost instantly. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The on site restaurant was nice and we really enjoyed our breakfast there. Generous portions, reasonably priced, and good service. The area is amazing.

The location was amazing. The room had a musty smell but was clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful and accommodating.

Highly recommend.

We have AT&T phone service, so we did get some service at the lodge, no Wi-Fi, and no television. It was actually perfect! The room was extremely clean, air conditioning worked really well, the water pressure was amazing and there was enough hot water for the three of us to all shower. One right after the other. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that they provide was actually really great. Absolutely would stay here again!

8/10 Very good

Very rustic cottage, peeling paint, no tv, but everything was provided for a good night's stay. Clean and comfy.

Clean cabin, convient location for National Park.

Mammoth Caves gems.

Built in about 1932 these old cabins are incredible for space, cleanliness, wood floors (no filthy carpeting) comfort and service. Be prepared for no tv no internet just time to listen and talk. Walk across the parking lot to catch your cave tours or go for hikes right outside your door or go walk to dinner at the lodge. Air conditioning via brand new mini splits.

Loved being in the park. Able to be close to the lodge for food and hiking trails

A little run down but great location

Room door wouldn’t open. Had to get a new room. It was a down grade. The shower flooded the hotel room. The beds were so unsupportive and made noises.

A little outdated but very cute!

I loved the small cottages at the national park! These are cute, and have separate bedrooms with doors, bathroom and shower in between them. The only issue we had was the condition of the cottages, they are very out dated. A little paint and newer linens would go a long way to preserve these. The stars at night are amazing and the cave tours are just across the street. There are trails all around the visitors center, lots of wildlife as well.

Loved it

The cabin was nice but historic so you have to remember they are old. Also it is a National Park so limited. No internet or tv in the room. The area was beautiful and the cave tours were amazing.
Erik, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was fun to stay in the park, but the rooms have seen better days. The grill was good, but didn't have enough staff.
