The Villa

The breakfast was amazing! Souffles, warm breakfast cookies and yogurt with fresh fruit. The presentation was just beautful! Very nice hosts and accommodations were very clean. Definitely recommend!!

Incredible stay, lovely hosts and a wonderful atmosphere. After a night on the town we came back to the Villa, had a cup of tea and enjoyed the great room before retiring for the evening. The next morning we spent in the sun room, enjoyed a fruit bowl and a bacon and eggs breakfast. Staying here was as if staying with family, Martin was that fun uncle that always had some great story to share and Tony, the aunt that goes out of her way to make you feel loved... February is a down month for them, spring and summer being peak season, so the garden was still awaiting the bloom. Something tells me a 75 degree day of May in that garden is really a site. The whole neighborhood for that matter... If you're looking for something special, something that the hotels can't provide, a place that is cozy and still luxurious an intimate setting where you feel welcomed and catered to. This is that place. From the bath robes hanging from the bathroom door, to Martin's tour of this incredible historic building. The endless supply of teas and coffee or the loaded Roku TVs ready to Netflix and chill. This is not just a place to stay the night, this is a place that will stay with you in memories for ages to come.

Tony and Martin were very sweet and so welcoming. As we walked into the Villa we were so amazed by the design and ambiance. The room was nicely put together, breakfast was delicious and Tony and Martin were so hospitable. It was also great socializing with the other guests who had nothing but great things to say about their stay. I loved the experience it offered us than a regular hotel...we definitely will be back to enjoy the breathtaking views. I am happy I chose The Villa for our staycation 😊😊😊😊

I really enjoyed immensely that guesthouse during my stay in Tacoma. My only regret about your place is that I spent only one night! The place is very calm, very clean, very spacious. I had the top floor room (only one on the top). The dinning room is very nice, the atmosphere is great, the breakfast is good. And I'm very picky about places where i stay. The two owners are wonderful, ready to help and are doing a wonderful job keeping the place this nice. The house has been registered as a landmark. Now I know where to stay in Tacoma next time, or even skipping Seattle, it's well worth the drive to be in such a pleasant place. Also, you're just a few minutes from downtown (by car) and probably only a 15min walk. Highly recommended.

Oh my god!! My girlfriend and I stayed in June 2019 and had a great time, but this time we stayed in the ravello room, it was just perfect. Fireplace in the room to make the romantic night even more perfect. It was at the top of the building so we could look out the window and see all the lights of the north side of Tacoma and the sound. The service by Toni and Martin is by far the best service and hospitality anyone could ever ask for. The breakfast is so amazing it just ties everything all together. What a great place to go.
