Astoria Hotel Budva - Montenegro

The position of the hotel is very good,but the majority of rooms don't have a sea view.stuff very polite,waiters little clumsy and slow.Breakfast very good To conclude You get a pretty nice stay for a good price.

Overall everything was good besides the bathtub, it literally had seaweed and old dirty stains, like if someone had urinated on it and was never cleaned! There were also mosquitoes inside the room. Other then that everything was good, front desk was very pleasant and helpful, very professional!

I only appreciate the breakfast, the are rich. The price is too for such a room (small compared to other hotels in Montenegro), one of the table lamp and keycard are not working. I did not use the beach as I don't they should charge hotel guest for chairs and umbrella . I ate dinner at the restaurant, quality ok, but they charged 1Euro just for the paper mat, I think it is ridiculous for a so called 4~star. For this high price , I think there are many other better choices.

The hotel has a great location within the city walls and multiple restaurants to choose from, including one directly on the beach. I would have given it a higher rating except for the fact that my dad’s hotel room door was broken so he couldn’t close it. The front desk forgot to tell us about it upon check in (apparently there was a trick to getting it to close), so my dad had a stressful evening unable to close the door. He let me know in the morning and when I notified the front desk, they were unsympathetic and blamed him for not letting the front desk know as they could have fixed it. We paid a lot to stay at the property and were not only not compensated for this unpleasant experience and safety risk, they exacerbated the situation by blaming my father for not letting them know.

Love the location and that the hotel includes breakfast in 3 locations including a terrace overlooking the sea. GREAT staff! So friendly and wanting to please. Nice beach area just steps from hotel. Hotel restaurants offered good food at reasonable price. Comfy, clean and quiet room. Liked everything so much we stayed an extra two nights. Highly recommend!

Absolute beautiful setting in the walled town. Great music at bar. Stunning views for breakfast in beach. Breakfast is great too! Room was fine, no view but hardly in anyway. Clean and comfy also great value! Only negative was morning waiters but miserable and very slow. Would defo return. Lady in reception very helpful and lovely.

The location was absolutely great: right on their own beach and inside the old city walls. Service was good and rooms were clean and modern.

Hotel Astoria Budva was excellent! They allowed us to check in early, and helped us make accommodations for our vehicle, as they have no on-site parking, but they have a connection with a parking lot close by for discounted rates. The room was spacious and quiet. They held our luggage post checkout in the morning so that we could continue to enjoy the beach. The only thing keeping this from being a perfect rating was that the bed was very uncomfortable.

Terrible stay The bed is uncomfortable, the A/C makes loud noises and doesn't even cool the room, they have a weird way of offering breakfast. The only good thing is the staff and location. Other than that it is horrible. Oh yeah the electricity even went off during our stay. Don't go there.
