The service was great, room was small but very clean overall our stay was ok
The hotel is very interesting. It has the feel of a small bed & breakfast, and the breakfast was excellent (but be sure to let the front desk know what time you plan to come down for breakfast the next morning). Staff were friendly and helpful, and seemed truly interested in the guests.
Great time, super friendly staff.
This property has the charm , character, and feel of a bed and breakfast. The rooms are decorated individually and is not like your cookie-cutter chain hotel. But because of that, the maintenance and upkeep varies as well. For example, the restoom door rubs against the frame and much force is needed to open and close the door. There was also drywall damage in the bathroom, possibly because of water leaking from the shower surround. Guests with mobility issues should be aware that one needs to ascend a set of stairs to get to the reception area (building is built on a slope) and there is no elevator. There is no ice machine for guests but the front desk was able to get us ice for our use. The front desk staff seems to genuinely care about their guests, and was very helpful even though we did not speak French. If you like places with charm and character, you will like this place.
Great location! Breakfast was definitely worth additional charge. Beautiful boutique small hotel with Vincent Van Gough's Staary Night painted on lobby floor.
This place was a great find! Marcel was so helpful with information and his attentive service made our stay wonderful. Parking (for fee) was very convenient. We originally booked 2 nights (room 4) which was a large beautiful space and then we added another night but only room 3 was available. Room 3 still had beautiful exposed brick but was much smaller, good for 1 night. Marcel and housekeeping made our move to another room very convenient. The breakfast was made to order with choices of crepes, croissant and omelette on menu with a few other options. Everything we had was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
Wonderful front desk staff especially Marcelle. He was super helpful about local tips for walking to Old Quebec City. Our room had nice architectural detail from old stone walls yet all the modern comforts. Pleasant hotel lobby with ode to Vincent VanGough Starry Night. Hotel was in great location with easy walk uphill to old “high” town and also to La Rosch neighborhood. Would definitely return again!
The staff was amazing. My wife and I enjoyed the breakfast and everything able our stay.
After travelling from Melbourne (Australia) to Montreal, we arrived at Hotel Le Vincent very tired. We had booked on Expedia and received confirmation of the booking to find that the hotel had not correctly booked our reservation. All rooms had been booked and we could not be accommodated except for the last night of our 7 day booking. After seeing our distress and frustration, the manager assisted us with finding another room at a hotel where he knew the manager. He also offered to pay for our last nights stay at the other location which we thought was a nice gesture at the time. Although, the location of the other hotel was reasonably good, this is where it stops. The hotel rooms were not particularly clean and the room resembled something from the 1970's. I would not recommend booking a stay at Hotel Le Vincent just in case this was to happen again. It appears to be a two bit operation with sloppy processes for booking reservations.
Cute little boutique hotel. It is on a very busy street with a lot of traffic noise BUT--when the double paned windows are closed, that noise is barely audible.
