Holiday Inn Express Liverpool Hoylake

Convenient for my purpose, clean, good breakfast and an excellent evening meal, my steak was perfect.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet area. Polite staff. Downside was cold shower in the morning and breakfast ran out 45 minutes before the scheduled closing time.

Very clean and comfortable, and well situated. Bedrooms nice, and bed very comfortable. No bath - just a shower. That's fine for me , but may not suit everybody. Shower cubicle large, with a decent sized shower head, so very good. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was OK - reasonable help-yourself selection in a small room, which you then took to a table in the foyer area. Not as comfortable as it might be. Pretty good value at £65 per person including breakfast. Only one gripe. They charged me £4 to park in their car park overnight! given that 3 of us spent over £200 between us, I think charging extra to park is unacceptable.

The staff are very helpful and incredibly friendly. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and the beach and train station are just a couple of minutes walk. Brilliant experience.

We stayed from the 7th til the 10th of Feb as we were invited to a 40th anniversary event at hoylake social club. Our stay with the holiday inn express hoylake was absolutely fantastic. We were greeted with a very polite young receptionist before receiving our cards for the room which was 226. The room was awesome & very spacious & stylish. The double bed was extremely comfortable & you could have extra pillows if required. The bathroom was equally impressive with a fantastic shower. The only thing that didn't work properly was the tv on the wall. Now that could be for a number of reasons. 1st the weather forecast with the storm that could have affected the signal or maybe the batteries needed replacing. However it did eventually come on. The bar area is adjacent to the reception area & not to bad & reasonable prices. And lastly the breakfast which was more than enough. A nice selection of breakfast cereals & fruit juice apple orange etc or tea & coffee & sausages bacon scrambled eggs & baked beans & toast if you wanted it. Would deffo stay again for sure. Great stay. Booked in early and headed off to follow our plans for the day; Liverpool Philharmonic concert and a pub to see LFC play Man Utd. Terrific concert; great result at Anfield.

The hotel is spacious and spotlessly clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It is very good value for money and the breakfast is first class.

Hotel is too noisy while having paper thin walls. Can hear conversations and other things from neighbouring rooms late into the night. Doors slam and wake up the entire hotel. Only One member of staff on a night shift in charge of the whole hotel not very safe especilally if theirs a serious incident. Wouldnt Recommend

Would definitely recommend this hotel, everything was just perfect. My only gripe would be, we arrived in the dark and our sat Nov directed us to the Green Lodge which is literally across the road, unfortunately the signs are not very well lit and we did have a drive around the block a few times!! Apart from that we have no complaints.
