Room was smaller and ceiling height was lower so it felt cramped. Service was good & location in town is excellent!
Walking distance around town, clean room, hot breakfast, social distance and safety guidelines well practiced. We will definitely stay again!
Fairhope is a great little town for a weekend getaway and the Hampton is the perfect location. Situated where you can easily walk to just about everything. Lots of great restaurants and shops close by. Not you typical Hampton. Very quaint.
We love staying at the Fairhope Hampton Inn. It is right in the middle of downtown and convenient to everything.

This Hampton is in the heart of Fairhope and close to everything I need. Walk to a dozen eateries! There’s a great charm and old feel vibe here. Nice size rooms and bath! Hurricane had recently hit, so a bit of debris and kind of junky around the parking deck, but excusable. I’ll be back.
Booked a king suite with balcony view at significant cost. Upon checking in, was told there would be no WiFi or breakfast due to recent storms, which was understandable. When I went up to room, I had been placed in central room with two queens, smelling significantly of smoke. The TV was on, but the HDMI was unplugged and there was no remote. Front desk was very rude and refused request for refund of difference between two rooms. They blamed Expedia for a computer error, despite other people in lobby also being at counter with booking errors. Front desk was clearly unhappy as they came up to fix tv. Was told wife and I were imagining smoke smell, and that if I didn’t like it, they’d cancel my room because they could “easily resell the room”, presumably to the other person in the lobby who’s booking they’d messed up. Wife declined a move as it was 10:30 PM. We ended up finding the original remote in the pillows of one queen bed, which raised some concerns about cleanliness. this will be the last time I book Hampton through Expedia.
I was attacked at this hotel after My complaint about the horrible odor throughout the entire hotel, checking into my room and finding the toilet had feces on it ! And them not having WiFi as guaranteed ! Christina..and Marie were the two front desk ladies that told me to get my things and get out of THEIR hotel ! The entire assault was recorded !
When I got there they could not check me in and I did not get to stay and I have not gotten a refund so please I would like a refund ASAP
