Abbey on Roma Hotel & Apartments

Some other people had problems with there keycard and couldn’t get hold of reception as an emergency which was poor. Could do with nicer and more pillows ... but good cheap option for a night or 2

It is handy to where I go. These are owner rented units in terrible conditions. This one was shocking.

My overall stay at the hotel was very good. Who ever booked me in on the Thursday afternoon, I thought, should have told me how to work the lift, and also how to get in at night. I also thought that a T.V. Guide would have been useful.

For me this accommodation is in the best possible position in Brisbane - all public transport is very close at hand including the express train to the airports. It's also within walking distance to Queen St and other shopping hubs. Checking in is made very easy for those of us whose planes arrive later than usual checkin. Reception staff are helpful and friendly, but it would be more convenient if office hours were longer (I realise this is Covid-19 related).

The reception area was full of industrial fans, the room key would not open the room door. The property was unattended. We had to wait 40 minutes for someone to arrive & let us in the room. The explanation was that the batteries in the door lock were flat. The manager arrived & allocated us superior room. The settee was stained & the decor tired. However the bed was comfy & the place is very convenient for the station.

I stayed at Abbey apartments for five nights, it was during COVID so a lot of the amenities were unavailable, and there was major construction across the road (for the cross river tunnel), they also had very restricted reception desk availability- it was only kanned 8am to 1pm., PLUS there was a major evacuation of the hotel after an incident.. And yet, this was the BEST hotel experience i have ever had! The rooms were lovely, the housekeeping staff did an amazing job before and during my stay... and the reception staff were phenomenal. In particular, a lady on the front desk went above and beyond to help me get my complex new work contract prepared and sent off by the deadline - And she was kind and helpful and very thoughtful, i was shocked and impressed, and cannot thank her - and every one here - enough!!

It is a great location to everywhere in the Brisbane CBD. I had great customer service and a great apartment

I appreciated the fact that I was able to change the dates of my booking at the last minute and that my special request was granted. They also permitted me to have a late checkout which was great as I had to catch a train later in the day.

Great and cost effective place to stay in Brisbane...across from Roma St train station..close to Brisbane courts...highly recommended
