Great stay in the heart of it all
This is an older hotel that is very well maintained from what I could see. Some of the bathroom amenities are a bit dated but functional. Plenty of hot water and the beds were quite comfortable. Location is amazing if you want to be a part of the heart of PV. Lots of places to eat, drink, and make new friends.

Lively, walkable, and the center of all things..
Weekend trip... the location is superb and central. Easy walk to the Malecon and beaches. The city is vibrate with different entertainment options. Live bands, clubs, bars and just a place to decompress. The park is lively. But make sure you grab and interior room for a peaceful nights sleep.

Misleading description but great location
The hotel is in a great location with easy access to everything Zona Romantica has to offer. Unfortunately the room description is not accurate as they only have a few Resort View rooms. Although we had the same room type Standard Studio it had a courtyard view and no blackout drapes either. Check when booking!

Great roof top terrace and central location
It is a wonderful place to stay just beside the tile park, central to resturants, the beach and the Malacon,just a block away.The roof top terrace is a plus with beautiful views of the bay. Pluses are the location. Although it can get noisy in the front with the bars but hey you can do zumba on your balcony at 8 am outside.There is no phone in the room. I thought i lost my cell and the management was more than accomodating to look at the security foot Turns out, it fell out of my pocket into the garbad can right beside the toilet Negatives were dirty blankets with hairs and stains on them and no face cloths from time to time. I

A "traditional" old-Mexico style hotel in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's Romantic Zone. Not fancy, but clean, safe, great staff, with an excellent location close to restaurants, bars, the Malecon (oceanfront walkway), entertainment, transportation, etc. It's our "go to" place to stay in PV. We are repeat guests and we've stayed in the suite, mini-suite, and studio rooms without complaint.

This is a hidden gem, with many restaurants in the area to choose from. There is no coffee service unless you purchase coffee grounds and bottled water for your coffeemaker, but there is a coffee and pastry shop 3 doors down. The rooftop pool area is lovely, but with no bar. Our unit had a full kitchen, so we could bring our drinks up and enjoy the beautiful views.

Not the Best Experience this Time
We have stayed here before with no problems but this time there was an issue. On two occasions when we returned to our room, things were missing. Nothing big or expensive but I would like to think that the maids are honest. We are not likely to be staying here again which is too bad. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, the beach & Malecon.
