La Luna

It’s very close to restaurants and shops. Location is very convenient but the hotel is in very poor condition (old and dirty furniture, sagging mattresses, out dated AC unit insufficiently regulating room temperature, bad smell interiorly). The main disappointment was the bed bugs, my son and my wife got bitten badly all over their body and face. When we reported this to the staff, they denied that there are any bed bugs in the hotel. Their uncomfortable itching still lasts until now. We will never stay at this hotel again.

A great place to stay right in the middle of this charming city! Very clean and centrally located. The concierge was extremely helpful when I checked in. Gave me several recommendation which were right on point to what I was looking to explore in Lucca! Will definitely stay here again!

Stayed at La Luna on my own in the single room. Was very well looked after by staff who were so helpful with my late evening arrival following flight being delayed. Location was perfect for the Summer Festival (I travelled over from UK to see Take That) and staff gave me directions to parkrun in the morning - all the sites you want to see are within easy walking distance of this lovely hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer - will definitely return with friends!

great hotel right in the centre of amazing town, we parked just outside the walls and walked easy to the hotel. you have to hire a bike and cycle the city wall. a special place

Good hotel in a good location, ideal for walking/cycling around Lucca, staff very welcome on arrival & parking was most useful.Room was clean, spacious and breakfast was more than sufficient ahead of the days activity!! More than happy to recommend this hotel for an enjoyable visit to a wonderful place.

The location of the hotel within Lucca’s Medieval walls is excellent for walking, seeing the numerous historical sites, and visiting great restaurants and shops.

Parking is expensive . Hard to find Should include details about access to hotel through pedestrian zone

great central location, staff friendly and accommodating

Ideally situated so all sites of interest in walking distance. No lift overcome by willing porters. Breakfast was fresh and good variety . good coffee available as in espresso. Taxi came promptly. Food nearby plenty of choices- Decor was traditional and homely. Some english TV. I enjoyed my stay and extended by a day.

For a friendly welcome this hotel is perfect. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is right on the doorstep! We stayed in Lucca for one week. We made great use of the trains and buses to visit some beautiful places. Lucca is a fabulous town and we would definitely return.
