Valamar Diamant Residence

Lovely location , very accessible to Poreč . Would highly recommend . Beautiful coastal and woodland walks.

Parking is far removed from apartments, apartments are a bit shabby, and not easy to find. Directions to apartments at check-in are minimal. Check-out in morning was a bit irritating as I had received approval for a late check-out (11AM) the night before (arriving late), but the housekeeper came in at 10AM and started cleaning (despite Do Not Disturb sign on door). Communication between reception and housekeeping not impressive. Also the swimming pool was not open during the stated hours (sign said "Open" but gate was locked while people stood outside wondering why it wasn't open. This was never explained. Meanwhile, the place is overrun with loud teenagers.

This was a very large resort with everything there that anybody could wish for. The hotel was beautifully kept but we had opted for self-catering apartments and definitely felt like the poor relations!!! They were fine size wise but did need a little tlc to bring them up to scratch. We were a bit put out that the day after we arrived a whole school party turned up and were allocated apartments all around us so the noise levels for the 5 nights they were there were very much higher than we would have hoped for!! The resort is very attractive - we all felt that a dedicated cycle path would have improved it as many people chose to use bikes and we felt we were constantly dodging them!!

The place is old,

Poor signage led us to the apartments themselves, rather than the check in at the hotel. Check in was excellent. Room was dark and if we opened the doors for light there were too many mosquitoes coming in. Aircon was noisy and the sofa bed was too short for an average adult. Bathroom in need of a refurb, and while there were plenty of towels they were all small and thin. Perhaps we got an old apartment - big old chunky TV etc - but it was disappointing. Location nearish to beach was great but again the signage around the hotel is poor. I wouldn’t stay here again even though the resort area seemed good.

Lidt slidt i lejlighederne . Dyrt at købe mad/ drikke på hotellet . Et kæledyr koster 20 EUR pr nat , 3 EUR for parkering på en grus plads i skoven .

Algjörlega frábært umhverfi við Valamar hótelin. Íbuðirnar í Residence eru hins vegar orðnar lúnar og mætti taka þær í gegn.

Vi bodde i lägenhetsdelen. Bra lägenheter med terass eller balkong. Det bästa var dock närområdet - fint bad (både pool- och strandområde) samt härliga promenadstråk med direktkontakt till Proec stad.

Det var en helt vanlig lägenhet i närheten av resorten. Inget speciellt och tyvärr väldigt varmt inne i sovrummet då det saknade AC där. Helt okej och det gick att gå till stan på ca 15 minuter. Terrassen var ett plus!

Posizione molto tranquilla,il complesso alberghiero e il residence è attorniato da una fantastica pineta che si estende fino in riva al mare. Molto confortevole l'appartamento e particolarmente apprezzabili le strutture sportive a disposizione degli ospiti.
