This hotel is so disappointing in appearance from the road, we nearly did not go inside! It is a horrible looking building. But inside the reception was friendly, it was nice. The room was basic, but comfortable enough and warm enough with the aircon on. It is shabby though, in that the door needs replacing and it not double glazed. The courtyard must be nice in summer. Breakfasts were good. Good situation.

Very good location . Quiet but within easy stroll of Avignon centre. Characterful rooms. Courtyard garden very welcome. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Clean, nice location away from the tourist crowd but a 5 minute walk to a lively little square with lots of restaurants and cafes. Desk staff very warm and helpful. Room was cl2an and modern but quite cramped and any noise in the corridor felt like it was right in your room.

We came to Avignon from Paris by train. Le Magnan is very convenient to the station, an easy10-minute walk. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The 9 Euro breakfast buffet had lots of variety from good fresh bread to protein to fruit. A lovely sheltered courtyard and it's ok to bring a picnic there in the evening. Cute clean room, comfortable bed, new bathroom. Inside the old City wall, so walking the city was not at all difficult. Wonderful place to stay.

There was mould and some squirky smell in the bathroom. Stain in the chair and mosquito in the curtain never cleaned during my four days sleep, which by the way I did not made.

Standing shower had poor drainage and strong smell. Rooms are worn. Good part is the facility was able to provide parking space.

The rooms were airconditioned, cool and clean. Property in a very good location for shops & restaurants.

Convenient to train station and to main office for Festival d'Avignon. Not the most central but in an interesting area on its own - many of the theaters are right here. I usually don't stay in 2 star hotels so facilities were not up to my usual standards but they probably were fine for this price point. Staff was friendly. Didn't have breakfast but looked nice to have it in courtyard (but I would say the courtyard was not as nice as it looked in photos - too much concrete).

The Magnan was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for Avignon making the city easy to navigate, and with virtually everything you need close at hand. We enjoyed our stay there.
