Shana by the Beach Hotel Residence & Spa

Beautiful hotel with scenic views - rooms are very clean and spacious; we recommend the jungle view if you enjoy watching wildlife up close. The capuchin monkeys visited our balcony several times. Service was also great (shout out to Recha and Michell). The restaurant serves a good breakfast and they have great drinks options. You are also pretty close to the beaches, the national park, as well as other cafes and restaurants.

Of all the places that I have stayed in the past 67 years of my life, this is the best. The staff is incredible! We really got to know Kevin and Cindy and they were amazing but everyone went above and beyond. Our room was at the bottom of a steep hill and as soon as Kevin saw me, he charged down to pick me up in the cart. I never had to ask.

A very good experience at Hotel Shana by the Beach. It was a beautiful place and they keep good care of the cleanliness in the room, pool, restaurant. They followed the Covid-19 security rules.

The reception of hotel looks very cheap ... with no enough space to relax and be welcomed, more like bus station... The reception staff was ok but very indifferent. The rest of services (restaurant and buggy drivers) were very nice and friendly.

Beautiful, peaceful, well-maintained hotel with excellent service and staff!! My boyfriend and I stayed here for the duration of our time in Costa Rica and were continuously impressed by the attentive service we received. Breakfast every day was delicious and our servers knew us by name and vice versa. The front desk was extremely helpful with arranging transportation around Manual Antonio, restaurant recommendations and excursions. The bar staff by the pool were very friendly and helpful. Very nice pool area and restaurant. We did like the beach also, but it was a bit of a hike to get there and back.

The service at this hotel was amazing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was a great place to lounge by and swim in and the private path down to the beach was another huge plus. The rooms were also big and spacious.
