Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Adults Only - All Inclusive

The room was smelly and the whirlpool bath only had 3 jets that worked properly, the others kept falling off. The towels are so rough it felt like I was drying off with sandpaper. I started bringing towels up from the pool to use because they were softer. There was so much Clorox in my washcloths I got chemical burns on my face. Had to soak them in the sink for a few hours to get it all rinsed out. There was mold or mildew in the bathroom, on the sinks and around the flusher on the toilet. The A/C was freezing and seemed to be no control over the temp, I had to keep turning it off to keep the room from getting too cold. There were reports on my FB group page of guests getting sick with salmonella poisoning, so I was afraid to eat any seafood and ordered all my food very well done. I did not get sick, thankfully, but I noticed a lot of areas for improvement at the buffets. They don't have pre-packaged yogurt, cereal, or breakfast bars anymore. People sticking their hands in the food instead of using tongs. I refuse to eat yogurt spooned out of a common bowl, this is gross, it's not even covered! The guy making my omelet used a fork with raw egg on it to flip mine, so I didn't eat it due to cross contamination between raw and cooked food. They no longer supply bottled Wata, I have trust issues drinking water from a refillable bottle. It is not safety sealed and anybody could spit in it if they wanted to. This was my 8th time here and I don't plan on returning.

The pools are amazing! Very clean. Watched pool attendant check water quality often. Security were always presentand beach was fabulous

Nice beaches and great food. A lot of the staff was unfriendly and not accommodating at all.

Did not like to see roaches. Was a beautiful property. Was disappointed rhT we did not get ocean front.

We loved everything about our stay here. Room Had a nice layout and was cleaned twice daily. Beach and pools were great and had plenty of chairs available. Food was good at the buffet and great at the a la carte restaurants. Service was unbelievable and far surpassed my expectations!

Great hotel. We have stayed there twice. The staff, hotel and food is great. Just lower your expectations of your butler and housekeeper. The pace is very laid-back, so trying to get anything is a challenge. I had a very difficult time getting reservations at any restaurants. I didn't know you have to book them a month before you even get there. Bad way to run reservations. Shout out to Kareen at the Expedia desk....she took wonderful care of all 11 of us!!

We have stayed here twice now and love it. All of the staff members are amazing! Our butlers (Zweile and Duran this time) were exceptional during both stays! And ALL of the entertainment staff (Smiley, Ricky D, Lisa, CoCo, just to name a few!), and bartenders are great! Not to mention the awesome food and ocean views! We hope to stay here again and definitely recommend!

This property has very nice rooms and facilities. All of the butlers and all of the employees are very helpful and a genuinely very nice people. The food is great. The buffet was so good, I did not bother to go to the theme restaurants. There is nothing I dislike about this property. That is why I have been there with my wife once each year for eleven years!

I really liked the staff, front desk was great, Butlers were great, but the concierge was not very nice or helpful. She was very arrogant. Loved the pool and beach area. The room service was wonderful. So enjoyed having that feature.

Absolutely stunning property! World class service throughout. Great staff, excellent food, & top shelf liquor!! Will most certainly come back to visit. Highly recommend!
