La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Norfolk Airport

Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

When I drove into the parking lot, I saw the dumpster and construction and new I made a mistake. The lady at the front desk was nice and kind. The room was not clean, there were stains on the sheets, and very noisy. I could hear street noise and slamming doors all night long. I did not get much sleep. The bed was itchy and the pillows were gross. If you are smart, I would not stay at this hotel. Look at the pictures.

I’ve stayed at other Quintas that have been fine, but this one was severely disappointing. Very dirty and staff walked around without masks.

It was overall a good experience! There was construction on the building, so there was limited parking, but it was fine!

The hotel is hard to get to because of the new highway construction. The room was not cleaned properly, the tables and dressers were dirty from food. I had to sanitize the whole room just in case. They were painting the outside of the hotel and "yes" they put me in a room directly near all the noise. And on top of that, the tub is not leveled with the floor, I slipped and fell on the floor getting out of the tub. I busted my knee and all they said was I'm sorry. I really didn't expect anything because it was my fault, but I was hoping they said a little more then sorry. Never again will I stay at that hotel. It needs a lot of updating.

It was a fairly new hotel that you can tell the manager there is not doing his job the filth in that hotel is disgusting the entrance doors dirty the rugs going to the elevator dirty the elevator extremely dirty to carry the name La Quinta inn disgusting hotel I will never stay in La Quinta inn anymore I give up

Easy pick up from the airport, checking in was a breeze. No real breakfast due to COVID, so they have breakfast in a brown paper bag for easy contactless service.

Overall dirty, and lacking up keep. The elevator is terribly slow, incredibly dirty with trim held up with clear packing tape. Hallway carpet is very dirty with numerus stains, it does not appear to have been cleaned more then just vacuuming since the building was opened. In the room: The king bed was comfortable but sloppy sheets. The comforter was also in need of being replaced, all the insulation was clumped in each square of the quilting and was too small for a king size bed and would slid off if you look at it wrong, all bedding seemed as if it was for a queen mattress. Bed pillows need to be cleaned or replaced, they all smelled of previous guests. The chair in the room needs replaced or cleaned, heavily stained with years of taint sweat or wet swim suits. The shower was also dirty. Good water pressure though... Paper thin walls and floors lets you hear all of your inconsiderate neighbors in perfect detail along with all the doors slamming for hours as house keeping make their rounds
