Piermonde Apartments - Cairns

Great location. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. The room itself is spacious and well equipped. It would however benefit from an an update. The outdoor furniture and kitchen table are deteriorating, the colour scheme is a bit dated and the couch is stained. The room is located next to the garbage chute so every time you enter and exit it smells foul. That smell enters the kitchen on occasion too.

Shocking condition of furniture and arrival process

Magnificent views. Huge apartment. Well equipped. Clean and we were surprised it was serviced every day. Disappointed with the swimming pool - I thought it would have been heated - but it was really too cool to swim. We were in unit 1402 which had an enormous balcony. Both bedrooms had balconies and views. Location overlooking cruise terminal. Easy walk to restaurants at pier

Receptionist tried to double charge me for the room at check-in, even though was paid when I booked. The entire Couch was peeling so we all ended up with black specs of pleather on our clothes. Nice area to relax and wind down, unless you have the old couple above yelling out for our children to be quiet while playing in the afternoon.....

This property was extremely clean one of the best I stayed in. I will definitely stay here again

the things we liked most of this property is it is very Quiet and tidy easy to find.
