Hotel Dann Cartagena

gutes Hotel direkt am Strand. Das Hotel ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte dringend eine Renovation. Schönes grosses Frühstücksbuffet. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Da der Lift nur jeweils im Zwischenstock hält muss man jeweils zu den Zimmern mind. 1 Treppe benutzen!

Leider kamen wir zur falschen Zeit: Menschenmassen, Stadt überlaufen!! Kennen Crtg anders und liebenswerter!!!

Make sure to call before you book it we didn’t have any hot water at all. Need to change those pillows smell bad.

Es un hotel de tres estrellas máximo, venido a menos, instalaciones viejas y un pésimo desayuno.

Based on the price and ratings we expected more from the hotel. The property was older pool was not updated chairs were dirty very old go out to the beach which is not private and you were attacked by the locals no beach chairs from the hotel and you have to pay the locals to sit which tables are very dirty. Room was ok no comforter on the bed which was weird and a strong smell within the rooms... the hotel overall was out of date in amenities and nothing to do on property.

We generally stay at Sonesta in Cartagena, after reading reviews and wanting to be closer to the beach we decided to try Hotel Dann, sooooo glad we did, we chose a Junior Suite with a city partial Ocean view, we LOVED the view, the balcony was HUGE as was the room, we try not to spend alot of time in our room on vacation but we do however like space, the suite was PERFECT! We alway order in room service in between meals and was nice to have the table with 4 chairs to eat. Bedroom was large and comfortable and my teenage daughter had a bed in the living room which was very comfortable for her as well. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was TOP notch, matter of fact all the staff was very friendly and helpful, we walked several times to Avenue San Martin for restaurants and shopping and cabs were readily available as well! Def. hire a cab and go to the mud Volcano, we vibed good with a taxi one day and ended up getting his whatsapp # and used him for the Volcano, was a great idea, he was AWESOME, patient and kind, drove very well too!! We used him for several restaurants as well!! We loved the Pool and walked the beach several times,HOTEL DANN is located in a perfect spot, short taxi to the walled city, walking distance to Avenue San Martin cheap taxi everywhere else! PLUS there are several minimarkets close by, walking distance for snacks, bottle water etc..We will be back to this hotel and we will recommend to our family and friends, was very safe, clean and quiet!

Major issues with cooling system. Staff just played games, lied to me and did nothing to make good. Very surprising. No compensation offered. Miserable first three days. Cooler outside. The massage girl always shorts the minutes.
