Hotel Oasis

We loved the location and the friendly staff. The rooms were clean but were very outdated. We did not like the pool and it’s location in the property made it seem it was in the middle of the parking lot.

This is the second time we've stayed here. The staff is friendly, efficient and check in was a breeze. The restaurant was good and the servers were great. Our room was clean and huge with a beautiful rock wall. Only negative was the shower pressure wasn't good.

Very basic beachfront hotel. Soap dispenser next to sink was empty. Shower is very dated with drain cover loose and moving off drain. Beds were clean, Electrical outlet were so loose phone chargers would not stay in socket. Window to beach is high and half covered by a screen

Awesome place and many times has much improved

All staff were working hard and they were very nice people. The location is perfect. Beach is in front of the hotel and we were able to walk to Malecon and around Cathedral. Rooms are dated and need some renovation. I felt the price was higher than other hotels. If you go there, tip with cash at the hotel restaurant.They will not get if the tip was paid by credit card. Also sadly, no more live music and dancing at the hotel.

Great location right on the water. Mini-suite was spacious and well appointed. We had a great three night stay.

On the beach location perfect for walking and town access. Very friendly service, good dinner and great music on a Saturday night.

Liked: Great location right on the beach. Very nice. Did not like: Restaurant staff inattentive and disorganized. Very poorly trained. I saw one fellow wait for 20+ min to get coffee. It was like one person was really in charge of waiting and the others were tentative. Power outage: One day it lasted close to 12 hr, the next 4 hr. Some repair or upgrade. As if that was not bad enough, they were late notifying us. No apologies, just the way things work. My problem: It is a tourist-depend, little, clean, town, so I expected better client service.

I've been visiting the Oasis for years. It was a reasonably good deal when I started going, but now that the price has more than doubled, it is very overpriced compared to other lodging in town. Additionally, hotels.com stated that my room came with breakfast for two, which was denied me by the front desk. They blamed hotels.com for not giving them enough money for the room and me for using hotels.com. Basically, they lied. And basically admitted to this the next day after I had already paid for breakfast. Hopefully, this great location will find itself under new ownership, or at least management, someday soon.
