It's an old motel but wasn't that bad. I would look for something else next time unless there's nothing else available. People with allergies be careful because there's some odors, room was clean.

Clean bathroom, clean linens and towels. Pool was also very clean. Its an older place but its quiet and cloae to hersheypark. Wi fi slow. Only has ice machine. There is a pizza place across the street and the filling station down the road has good breakfast and homemade donuts.

Listen, you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly upon check in but nowhere to be found in the evening. The room was outdated but more concerning was that the floors were sticky and dirty- we walked around with socks and shoes all weekend. The beds were made but the room by no means was cleaned at the end of the day. On a positive note, The inn is conveniently located just a few minutes from Hershey Park.

So I stayed at the cocoa country inn motel- room #313 two queen beds because of reviews that i read I brought memory foam,sheets,pillow and a blanket-it definitely helped and as a result my bed was comfortable( otherwise the bed wouldnt have been comfortable).The floors were hard wood flooring which were clean -the bathroom was clean enough - furniture outdated-air conditioning kept the room nice and cold . The owner was very nice & accommodating. If housekkeping would bump up their game & really deep clean the whole building -the reviews would improve & I would go back -its little things like dirty coffee maker , sink wasnt the cleanest ,sheets had a hair (which again I used memory foam) -over all it does have potential

Disaster

Got in room and sat on edge of bed and it collapsed. The legs on the frame gave out. I weigh 195 pounds. Went to office to tell him and he gave me a key to another room . I opted that door and there were people in the room. Ended up taking the bed frame out and put the mattress on the floor to sleep in the original room. Disaster.

Waiting on a refund from Expedia for false advertising. The front door to the rooms was unlocked and there was no one to monitor who was coming/going. Then when my room key didn't work, they produced five or more keys and just kept trying until one worked. The unknown lock situation was scary, the hallways were dirty, nothing appeared as advertised and no one spoke English so we couldn't resolve any issues.

Absolutely horrible. I went into the stay with the mentality of “oh sweet I found a nice cheaper hotel for an overnight stay!” Little did I know, the two rooms I booked came with two keys that unlocked EVERY room on the floor. I asked for a refund due to the safety concern that my key could open every door on the floor. The man at the desk REFUSED even to hear the word refund and wiped my keys so they only worked for my specified rooms. But what’s to stop other programmed keys from opening my door while I’m gone? Absolutely not happy with this. Took the hit for this hotel and got another one because myself and my girlfriend had safety concerns.

Smelled bad and unsafe

When my family arrived we tried being optimistic. The customer service guys were friendly. We we went to the entrance the door opened without a key so anyone could come in. The room key didn't work. After exchanging it we were disgusted by the overwhelming smell of the hallway and room. Looking around the room there were stains on the bed, the outlets weren't secure. We called Hotel.com to get a refund and transfer to another hotel. We were told to talk to the customer service. They weren't going to refund and tried to give us another room. The one room smelled like smoke. The next was was slightly better smelling. The vent in the bathroom was on with tape. The window to outside was missing a latch so anyone could come in. The family was disappointed. One good thing is the location is close to Hershey Chocolate World l, Museum, and Park.

We found bed bugs as soon as we check in so we left the hotel before even unpacking. The person at the counter was very nice about it and was sorry and told us to call hotel.com to get refund because he couldn't issue it. I will find out if hotel.com will honor that. We had to find another place to stay last minute.

Had roaches, no privacy in bathroom because blinds were broke tried fixing it with cardboard but didn't work, ceiling looked broke maybe water damage and had mold smell. No mattress protector only very thin sheet on bed, pillows were obviously very dirty and stained. Not worth the money!

Do Not believe the photos that are in their website…. The furniture looks like they picked it from the side of the road, no plastic covers under the sheets revealing so many stains you would think Dexter stayed there or someones colostomy bag broke…we only stayed in the room long enough to google the next closest hotel and walked out!
