Good busines hotel in the city close to temple and folk museum, staff speaks English and overall well organized hotel. Not close to the majority of tourist attractions of Jeju Island and relevant bus stop is 15minutes away. Good breakfast. Spa / pool costs USD 15 extra per day. Restaurants and supermarkets are close, in-house restaurants was not. So exitment
The gym AND pool were NOT included with the stay. This was not mentioned prior to my stay. In additional, sky lounge wasn't opened. This hotel was really outdated with everything and I'm very surprised this is called a 5 star hotel. I will be telling people NOT to stay here. Lastly, I asked simply a staff member for a recommendation for a nice restaurant in the area, and they couldn't tell me anything. I had booked two nights here and feel like I've wasted my stay here.
The Room Facilities is old-sytle..
Good location. Comfortable and clean
The room was fine, but, the carpet was dirty; in addition, the phone too. The rate for the room was excellent(too good to be true). Upon check-out I found out why; they charge 82,000 Won(about $70.00 USD) per day for taxes. Insane! Taxes exceeded the cost of the room. I don't know if they are governmental taxes or KAL self-imposed taxes; at any rate, too much.
Nice quiet rooms and good service at the Front desk.
75% satisfaction. The staff maybe polite and willing to help, they just can't do much due to their limitation in English language. The communication barrier can also be used as an excuse to not fix a problem or compensate the customer
fitness centre not open everyday
Only negative is that you need to pay for the use of fitness facilities and pool
Very nice hotel, clean and greatly located. Breakfast was very very good, with lots of options. Breakfast was around 15,000 krw if you're staying at the hotel. Only regret is, while the fitness centre is amazing and I hugely recommend it, there is no day-pass you can buy, meaning you have to pay two times if you go twice in a single day, which is a bit stiff. Single use is 17,500 krw, if you're staying at the hotel. I don't regret paying for the fitness centre because it's great and the hotel is reasonably priced by itself, I just wish I could go for a quick run in the morning and use the sauna in the evening to relax for example.
