Many country trails lead to the village from the villa. And once there, you’ll find bars, restaurants, shops… a bustling little borgo with fantastic views all around!
The area of San Casciano dei Bagni is famed for its 42 hot water springs. Throughout the ages, Etruscan and Roman nobility, including Augustus, the famous Roman emperor, have gathered here to luxuriate in waters of 40+ degs C. And it’s free of charge!

Refundable Deposit Damage – no one has ever been charged !
There is a refundable damage deposit of 500 euros that we take as an insurance policy against Vandalism or Serious damage. However, to date, in 20+ years, we have Never had to charge anyone - the damage deposit has always been returned in full. We do not count broken glasses, plates or the like as “damage”!
