Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront

The view was beautiful, exactly what I wanted. However the room was very outdated. The shower was dirty and rusty. The bed broke while I was sleeping and the heat didn’t work. Overall pretty disappointing.

Disappointed and won’t stay there again. Room itself wasn’t terrible, but the hallway smelled like weed at certain times, things you can’t control happened like the front desk banged on someone else’s door at midnight and that woke me up, also the next night people were slamming a door and running up and down the hall for hours during the middle of the night so I didn’t sleep almost all night. The ceiling had mold on it and the exhaust fan sounded terrible if you turned it on. The most disappointing part was the hotels.com picture was of the beach boardwalk and made it look like it was right in the beach. It was definitely not. Couldn’t have walked on the boardwalk if I wanted to.

The 1st room i was put in was not cleaned there were Heineken bottles and cans hidden under the curtains. The bedding on the beds were dirty and not cleaned. They had dog hair all over the covers and under the covers. The 2nd room had mold in the rooms and you can see how they tried to paint over. What topped the stay was when I was leaving to check out my receipt was left in the door with all my information in it were anyone could walk pass and get my personal information and do anything with it. When asking the front desk why my receipt wasn’t given to me at check out or when I checked in the lady stated it’s Policy to leave the receipts i the door. She was very rude and not understanding of the hotel placing guest receipts in hand because of having there personal information on it.

The host checking us in was not the nicest. Our room was very run down and our balcony door was so hard to get open. Cleanliness was an issue as well. Room was very dusty and there was finger prints on the dot and tooth paste on the mirror. For the price I paid it was definitely motel quality.

Toilet didn’t work. Blood on bathtub. Paint falling off ceiling. They ask us to use a hand towel for a wash cloth. Dog food on floor. Small black hairs all over beds. Bed sheets put on inside out Room was filthy. They had to move us to another room because of toilet and that hardly worked. That room was also filthy. Blood on floor and bathtub. Looked like someone vomited over dresser drawers. Paid 150.00 for the roomy. I will never stay at a Wyndham Resort again

This hotel did not meet my expectations. The hotel was dirty. It needs to be vacuumed badly. The first room we were given there was visible mold in the heating vent. In the second room the beds were not made upon our entry, and the third room was just dingy. The blankets were stained and at this point I was tired of the front desk so I bought a cheap set from Walmart to cover the bed. We stayed two nights the second night we got neighbors. Very loud neighbors sound like about 6 people were in that room they were discussing everything from who would sleep on an air mattress to family drama. I expected a clean hotel with friendly service to get away for an off season weekend. This stay was everything except comfortable and relaxing.

Very dirty and in poor condition. The AC/heat unit is coming out of the wall. It was pouring cold air inside.

The ocean view was love seeing the big waves come in and out... waking up or going to sleep to the sounds of the water❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The ocean view scenery was awesome. The room was okay. The carpet should be replaced and could use some painting as well. The room still had previous coffee stain but we wiped everything down so it was fine. We enjoyed our romantic weekend getaway!

My stay was real nice. However. I wasn’t aware they only had one microwave for the entire hotel to use on the 7th floor. Also the tub drainage was horrible we had to wait to take showers for the water to drain.
