The hotel was great.... clean and bed was decently comfortable. They let us check in early, which was a life saver with an early morning flight in and heavy backpacks we were toting around. Only frustrating part was the elevator situation. One or two of them didnt work right and woudl take you up and down with the doors never opening on your desired floor.
Due to renovation was dirty and noisy.
The hotel is under renovation which didn't interfere too much as I had zero intention of paying for breakfast there anyway when there are so many amazing places to eat in New Orleans. The room was comfortable, the pillows were fantastic, and the instant hot water was the best. This room had everything I needed in a good location for a decent price, so I was happy. The only thing I found upsetting was the mandatory valet parking. You can park for $18/day less in the same lot if you do NOT stay at this hotel but if you stay at the hotel you MUST pay for valet parking. It's a rip off.
Hotel is under renovation, we were not told. Because of COVID no room service, no cleaning of the room at all! we had to ask or go to the front desk to get coffee and towels
When we arrived at the hotel we were surprised to see that the entire hotel was under construction. There was no indication of this on the website and NONE of the amenities that were advertised were available. No discount was offered nor an apology for the lack of updated information. Our party consisted of approximately 14 people and there were issues all the way around. One room had dresser drawers that literally did not close. One room had a bathroom that looked like it was NEVER cleaned. A few of the rooms only had 1 yes ONE washcloth and when front desk was asked we were advised that they did mot have anymore. So the fact that we were there from Thursday to Sunday was totally unacceptable. I believe we received additional washcloths by Saturday. The shower in my bathroom leaked water all over the floor and there was coffee but no cups, sugar, etc. Overall this was just a horrible experience for us all and would NEVER recommend this establishment again!!!
The hotel is under construction, which isn't listed anywhere. The heating and cooling system sucked. It would randomly change from 69 to 76 constantly kicking off and on. We had to ask for towels and wash cloths. None of the listed amenities were available. No roof top pool or lounge or breakfast. Other than a place to sleep what did i pay for that was offered?
The only thing I can honestly say about liking the resort was one and I mean one friendly staff at check in. We checked into the hotel early and was told our room would be ready at 4 pm we didn't receive a key to our room until 630 that evening and that was after giving some attitude and explaining how we are 2.5 later than we was told. The hotel was under complete renovations there was nothing to do at the resort as evidenced by the reconstruction underway. Furthermore, the room could have been an overall great room but again back to the construction there was masking tape everywhere and the fire alarm in the ceiling was wrapped in clear plastic and masking tape holding it in place, had there been a fire that alarm would not have operated correctly. The bathroom which apparently they had not gotten to yet had mold in the shower and on the walls. I can honestly say I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Everything was excellent despite the Pandemic. Concierge was helpful, polite and friendly.
Unsatisfied, good service overall, even though my bed had hair from heaven knows what part of the body! 😫
The service was horrible and i was not able to even check into my room.
