Elk Country Inn

Jackson ist generell sehr teuer. Das elk contry inn gehört hier noch zu den günstigeren. Dennoch hatten wir uns von den vielen positiven Bewertungen mehr erwartet. Die sehr rustikale Aufmachung des Hotels ist wohl Geschmackssache. Unser Zimmer war recht düster und es hat komisch gerochen, was leider durch lüften nicht zu beheben war. Die Zimmer sind sauber und werden wohl auch instandgehalten. Aber für den hohen Preis erwarte ich neben Instandhaltung auch das man mal renoviert... Frühstück wurde leider auch keines angeboten. Insgesamt war das elk country inn das vom Preis/Leistung verhältnis schlechteste Hotel auf unserer Rundreise.

Das Inn hat eine super Lage zu der "Western Stadt" Jackson. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Beim Check-In wurde ein Zimmerwunsch von uns berücksichtigt und wir konnten zwischen 2 Zimmern wählen. Das Personal war wirklich super nett. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Betten super, alles bestens. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt.

The room was nice and clean and the location was perfect. It was a short walk to all the bars and restaurants and we even walked to Snow King to go snowboarding for the day. If you're here to ski Jackson Hole, the free shuttle was excellent and the driver was a professional. The indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi did not disappoint either. Because of the pandemic, you needed to make a reservation to use the facility (very easy to make each day) and I liked that because once we had a time slot, we could swim without worrying about it getting crowded.

Not a bad spot to stay. Beds were comfy, room was comfortable, didn’t even need to use the heater and it was snowing all day and night. Good job social distancing during these times and they have fresh baked cookies individually wrapped at the front desk!!

We live in the area and stayed just over night due to a snow storm and not wanting to commute. Check-in was fantastic and both gentleman were super helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. The new building and swimming pool is one of the best in the area.

View from our room at Snow King ski resort. After two days of skiing, we reserved the pool and jacuzzi every day. Every morning, they served a bountiful breakfast that we took to our room to eat. They took Covid very seriously with cleaning everything! We will be back!

Great location & good breakfast. Our cabin was a bit outdated - not the cleanest, fixtures were old and a bit janky, and heating didn't work great. Kitchen was a bit tight to do any real cooking, but definitely better than nothing. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Jackson and tried to stay outside as much as possible so this didn't really get in the way of the trip, but a bit disappointing relative to the really positive reviews.

Nate was so much help with our stay in Jackson Hole; dining, directions, things to do, reservations, etc. What a great place to stay!

Loved my stay at the Elk Country Inn. The lobby was very classy and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and easily extended my stay, allowed late check out, and acted as a resource for questions. The location of the Inn is great. A quick walk to the main square with tons of great restaurants. Would recommend this place 10x over for anyone who is going to Jackson Hole. They didn't service the room specifically during my stay but were more than happy to help out with specific request such as taking out the trash or suppling more towels or toiletries.
