Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und super Service. Traumhafter weißer Sandstrand, große Poolanlagen und vielfältige mit guten Speisen für alle Geschmäcker.
We have been to Cancun several times, but never with our children. This time we took our 2 and 3 year old. Paradisus exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the resort just as much, if not more, than some of the adult only resorts that we have stayed at. The food was exceptional at each of the restaurants. We paid a little extra once we got there for a larger beach cabana and beach side service which was really nice but not necessary. There are other palapa style umbrellas with chairs that are included with your stay. We just wanted something bigger for our girls to nap. ONLY thing we were disappointed about was the kids play area was closed due to Covid but Covid is obviously not the hotels fault and the kids had PLENTY to do between the pool and the beach. There is one pool that is about 18 inches and fairly large. This was nice and relaxing for us with toddlers. Will for sure stay again. Even without kids.
Paradisus is gorgeous and they did an excellent job of cleanliness and safety with the covid issues. We had 5 rooms and a group of 11. The waitstaff and spa staff was very attentive and excellent. we had a lot of issues with reservations for meals and events because we couldn't get our app to work on our phone. The Reserve was wonderful, loved the amenities, but the regular front desk checkin area is very unhelpful and slow to respond. Beware check out takes as long as checkin and they won't let you leave and keep a credit card on file. No big deal - if you know in advance and are not trying to get to the airport! Beautiful property though and even with a fees hassles and issues it was well worth the trip!
Staff servers were amazing and the actual hotel was beautiful. I dId not care for concierge service. They kept trying to push us to go listen to their spiel on their new hotel “Circle”. We were on vacation and not interested. We were approached by multiple people daily. Once I wasn’t interested, they stopped being helpful. I wanted to rent a cabana for the day and they kept telling me how much free stuff we could get by listening about the new hotel. They never did reserve the cabana for us so they were out the money for that. We also paid for a luxury ocean front room, which we received but the view was blocked because all the AC units and exhaust were in front of us. The exhaust was from the restaurants so our room smelled like food and was so noisy we couldn’t have stood on the balcony to enjoy the scenery and breeze because of the noise and smell. Since the hotel was at reduced capacity, that was disappointing since it wasn’t full. Trying to get reservations for dinner was also a challenge and you had to basically make a reservation prior to arriving.
Best of cancun
Wife and I had a great time here celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary. We even got a free lobster dinner on the beach while there.
The staff was incredible, no complaints there. We had booked the Paradisus by Melia Cancun but the day before we're to leave 10-12-20 received an email telling us this one was closed due to the hurricane that went through. Understand, can't help that, they offered their other place Paradisus by Melia playa Del Carmen. It was my birthday and I didn't want to not do anything on my birthday so I took this option. Once arrived and checking in the lady offered a "VIP" accommodations for an additional $200 which included a jacuzzi (which come to find out almost all, if not all had them) and it would be in an adult only area. Then once we said Ok to the upgrade it went to $250 (access to the private beach area) we agreed (it was my 50th) once in the room which was very nice, I hear kids in the pool I went to look and sure enough. Love kids have 4, just wanted some time without. The private beach area was nothing more than some nice cushion recliner chairs with an umbrella which the first day were all taken by people that weren't suppose to be in this area we were told. The next day we reserved a spot and was able to use it but then we had to fight off a hungry racoon with the help from the staff from taking our lunch. They were all over place which I get it we're in their environment and they smell the food in the trash cans. The real problem was I believe they knowingly "upgraded" us to an area that we weren't able to use let alone enjoy. We won't be back to the Playa Del Carmen.
The hotel was super dirty and had a terrible smell, the rooms had a terrible smell as well it smell humid. The fist day we got there the food was terrible and the drinks were super bad. There was only one good restaurant that was good, you could see people throughout the hotel complaining. The beach was super dirty full of seaweed. That hotel looked as if it had been close for months and had just opened. We fell ripped off by the overall experience and had a really bad taste of Mexico. HORRIBLE
En nuestra habitación no servia la regadera, no salía agua caliente y el refrigerador no estaba funcionando. Pero fuera de eso la comida y el servicio estuvo muy bien.
Hotel it’s beautiful but rooms totally need a renovation but other than that was great even during the pandemic
