If you are looking for a view of the volcano this is it! Stop looking anywhere else. for the price and the location this place is perfect! We stayed on the last few days of our honeymoon and we LOVE IT! The view from our room was outstanding! cant beat it! Also from driving around this was the only hotel we saw that actually looked like the photos on their page. The staff was super helpful as well. We had to get a covid test to get home and the front desk booked our appointments for us and set everything up! made the stay much less stressful! Also got a bottle of wine since we were on our honeymoon! Absolutely loved our stay here. It is a 10-15 min drive from the downtown area so I suggest renting a car!

We had a fantastic time! The view from our room was amazing. Those working at the front desk went out of their way to help us with excursions, reservations and they even ran to the store for us to get us bug spray and razors. The wait staff at the restaurant was so nice and helpful. These people really made our trip extra special. We would highly recommend.

We've asked, kioro means Toucan, and we actually enjoyed Toucan sighting from our hotel room. This luxurious resort has 12 gest buildings, the first 8 has 2 levels and buildings 9, 10, 11, 12 are 3-level. The last 4 got the best view. If you can, ask for the top floor at 9, 10, 11, 12. The spacious room and the 15 ft vaulted ceiling will satistify you for sure. Our room is above the tree canopy and we can see a lot of wild animals that you can't hard

Not a 4.5 star resort. Showing its age in many areas. Charged us incorrectly for a third guest and never provided any amenities for the 3 registered guests. Room had a hot tub, but was not turned on before we got there, it took almost 24 hours to heat up. The electronic key locked us and the housekeeper out on three different occasions. Lastly, we lost all water to the room for over an hour which caused us to miss our coffee and chocolate tour. Disappointing experience over Christmas. I never write bad reviews, but the overall experience required a review.

The rooms are huge and comfortable, with close-up views of the volcano through an enormous floor to ceiling picture window (though it is often hidden in mist). The thermal hot springs on-site are only lukewarm, though, but they own another excellent site with beautiful facilities and free access to hotel guests just a couple of kilometers away where the water is really nice and hot. The breakfast (included) is pretty good, and so is the restaurant, though neither is five-star quality. Lunch at the pool was excellent, though.

Service is lacking and not 24x7. Currently only a few personal man the property due to low occupancy.

Las habitaciones son preciosas, mucho espacio y la vista única. Lamentablemente en la habitación vecina había huéspedes molestos, que hicieron mucho ruido en la madrugada y no había forma de quejarse o de alguien en el hotel colaborará con el orden y el respeto al descanso ajeno. No pudimos dormir en la madrugada debido a esta situación.

The place is great, we really enjoyed our time there, the complementary breakfast was fabulous. The room was really nice the high ceilings are extremely nice and the setup with the bed in front of the large sliding doors facing the volcano is worth the trip, waking up to that view is priceless. The bed was incredibly comfy. Something that was impressive was that even with the shortage in staff the gardens were well kept which is not easy with the topography of the hotel. A nice added touch is that one can visit a hot spring place outside the hotel for free. Don't get me wrong the hot springs at the hotel are fabulous but having the extra location towards downtown La Fortuna is very convenient. Overall I would highly recommend Kioro

Room included a Jacuzzi, bottle of wine at Front Desk at Check-in, welcome cocktails. Very quiet site, several spring water pools. Highly recommended.
